We’ve had some fab barn venues recently join us so you’ll find those listed below, but I also wanted to share our deep love for the treasures who been with us for a while such as Almonry Barn (pictured in the header).

Ashridge Great Barn
Ashridge Great Barn is set on a working farm in the rolling Devon countryside. Nestled in it’s own valley, the barn is completely surrounded by green pastures and a sustainably managed, wildlife friendly woodland.
The barn is a historic building with parts that are around 500 years old. It was previously a grain barn and retains many original features giving the venue a rustic ambience that works well with an elegant, luxury style or bohemian, rustic décor. All bookings are for 3 days, giving you a full day to prepare and a full day to pack up so that the entirety of your special day is devoted to enjoying your wedding.
The Oak Barn
New for 2108! The stunning 18th Century Oak Barn is nestled in a beautiful valley below the village of Benenden in an enviable rural position within Kent’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Located at Frame Farm, a traditional farmstead of 25 acres, the current restoration retains all the historic features and provides a stunning, versatile space for your wedding. The barn has a magnificent high vaulted roof, amazing views of the surrounding countryside and a cosy wood burning stove, giving you every modern convenience in a beautifully traditional building that is perfect in all seasons.
Lains Barn
Lains Barn is a beautifully restored, listed barn set near the charming market town of Wantage, Oxfordshire. The timber-framed space, which dates back to 1750, features a stunning main barn, festoon light-lined gallery, custom-built bar, beautiful tiled floor and large, wooden doors which open onto a lawned courtyard – ideal for outdoor celebrations and ceremonies.
Northside Farm
Northside Farm is set in the picturesque Northumberland countryside, the heart of Hadrian’s wall country. They are a very relaxed and informal style venue giving their couples time to enjoy their wedding, away from the wedding conveyor belt. They offer exclusive use from 12pm Friday – 12pm Monday so you get to spend time with your loved ones and enjoy your celebrations, complete with 10 wigwam camping pods for those guests who wish to glamp! The barn has been lovingly restored to provide a versatile space that is unique, elegant and quirky.
Lapstone Barn
Lapstone Barn is a traditional 18th-century stone barn, recently converted to a stunning wedding venue and set on a peaceful Cotswolds hill just 5 minutes’ drive from Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
As an exclusive use venue, every inch of Lapstone Barn’s Cotswold beauty is yours – and yours alone – to use as you wish for the day of your dreams. From 10am in the morning, the Bridal party can use the delightful Hayloft, complete with the Brides own luxury dressing room to be pampered, preened and get ready with no worries about getting to the venue on time – no rush, no stress, just the perfect start to your day.
Stratton Court Barn
Stratton Court Barn is a beautiful countryside venue, perfect for putting your own stamp on your day.
It’s found at Pool Farm, set amidst rolling Oxfordshire countryside, yet only 10 minutes from Bicester. Once you enter the venue by the gorgeous treelined drive, the peace and quiet of the countryside will surround you and provide a gorgeous backdrop to your celebrations. Originally built in 1870, and thoughtfully refurbished, the barn has kept its rustic charm, making it the perfect setting for wonderfully intimate, relaxed and happy celebrations.
Farbridge
Once an old dairy, now beautifully restored, Farbridge nestles in the rolling downlands of the South Downs National Park, a quiet oasis of natural beauty, located only 10 minutes from Chichester.
Their barn can host 60-150 guests, and includes seven en-suite bedrooms as well as a set of private rooms for the couple. Farbridge is a series of barns and outhouses dating from 1825, beautifully restored to create a light, warm and airy atmosphere, connected one to another in a flow that allows your day to unfold seamlessly.
High Billinghurst Farm
High Billinghurst Farm is set within 65 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside between Dunsfold and Hascombe, situated at the end of a long meandering private lane, edged by hedgerows, wild flowers and fields.
The Hay Barns at High Billinghurst Farm have been designed with flexibility and creativity in mind. The large Hay Barn adjoins two timber framed Elizabethan barns which can be used individually or in combination to create a truly unique and individual event. Complete with a huge inglenook fireplace and chandeliers the vibe is cool, glamourous and yet utterly rustic.
Kingscote Estate
At the heart of the Kingscote Estate is the stunning 15th century Tythe Barn – an idyllic space for weddings. Surrounded by the vineyards, orchards, lakes and rolling countryside and not forgetting the romantic Bluebell Railway steam train. There are many photo opportunity within the estate. The lakes, the Medway river, wooden gates and vineyards are amongst the many potential photo settings.
High Barn, Edenhall Estate
Edenhall Estate is a private estate in Cumbria, set just to the east of the Lake District, in the lesser known but equally beautiful Eden Valley. Set upon the highest point on the Edenhall Estate, High Barn boasts stunning panoramic views of the Lake district and Northern Pennines.
At High Barn they want your personality and style to shine through, with endless possibilities, it really is the perfect place to create a wedding day as individual as you are… They have no restrictions on which suppliers you use, but they are always more than happy to suggest their favourite local one if you’d like a little help.

Launcells Barton, Cornwall.
Almonry Barn
Almonry Barn, set in picturesque Somerset surroundings, retains plenty of historical soul but offers a modern twist, rustic elegance and striking architectural design throughout. The Barn is a Scheduled Ancient Monument (the same historical league as Stonehenge) and has been standing for over 800 years. It is also believed to be the oldest wedding barn in England, and was once part of a beautiful abbey – the ruins of which still stand opposite.
As a family run business, the service is second to none – they pride themselves on their personal approach. The Barn is renowned for the stunning canopy of fairy lights that adorn the Main Historic Barn which is where the wedding reception is held.
Doxford Barns
They stray away from the ‘norm’ at Doxford Barns by providing a beautiful barn venue, with accommodation on-site, that is exclusively yours for up to three days. You’ll be in awe when you see the romantic Threshing Hall, for indoor ceremonies, coupled with the wow factor achieved with ‘The Great Barn’. Cripps Barn
This magnificently-isolated wedding venue in the heart of Gloucestershire, has stunning gardens, and overlooks the spectacular, rolling Cotswold Hills with not another building in sight.
Cripps Barn is a lovely old Cotswold stone barn set in beautiful countryside. It has flag stone floors, an open fire place and a large south facing terrace with firepits and a bonfire in the garden. Cripps Barn are known for their whole bbq’d lambs, sirloin bricks or butterflied leg of lamb. Alternatively you can rotisserie chicken, suckling pig or duck. They only use the best ingredients and serve feast style in bowls on the tables. Simple, wholesome and oh-so-yummy!
Chaucer Barn
Award-winning Chaucer Barn is located on the edge of the village and has 4 acres of landscaped grounds and a further 16 acres of parkland for their guests to enjoy. Millbridge Court
Millbridge Court is located in the beautiful village of Frensham on the Surrey, Hampshire borders. Situated in the heart of the countryside, with the River Wey visible from the grounds and occasional visits from neighbouring cows and horses, it’s an idyllic spot.

The Holford Estate is set within a private and secluded location, encased in Cheshire history, surrounded by fields with stunning gardens.
Their recently restored 18th Century barn brings something truly inspirational to the event world. The restoration has allowed them the opportunity to keep many of the original features that add to an authentic and magical atmosphere, whilst showcasing the latest state of the art technology. This diverse and flexible space includes a mezzanine floor, gallery with dual sided staircase, brides dressing room, male and female washrooms, sustainable underfloor heating, log burning stove, atmospheric lighting and an in-house music and PA system.
