Almonry Barn is a unique wedding venue, the oldest barn to host weddings in England, and is steeped in history, dating back to medieval times. Built by monks, it’s opposite the Abbey ruins and Grade I Listed Church in a small historic village on the edge of the Somerset Levels, opposite a Medieval Abbey and Church. The setting is truly stunning, with a variety of great photo opportunities.
It’s conveniently located an hour from Bristol or Bath and two hours from London when travelling by car.
Almonry Barn provides ample outdoor space with gardens and an ancient orchard to enjoy drinks, games or even an outdoor civil or celebrant-led ceremony. With superb food and excellent customer service, they offer exclusive use of their spaces and accommodation for two for 2/3 days to ensure you enjoy every minute of your celebration.
