I’m the founder of this digital wedding platform, and I’ve been curating wedding venues for over a decade. I am completely interior, and design obsessed, so I naturally fell in love with all things weddings and wedding venues when planning our own celebration.
The venue is usually the first big decision you make as an engaged couple about your wedding, and from this foundation, you build your incredible gathering of friends and family. Whether you choose a grand country house, a chic city bar or a tipi in the middle of a field, we absolutely want to help you in that search.
We usually embark on a complete platform refresh every four years—both from a design and tech perspective – to ensure we continue to deliver a unique and second-to-none venue search experience. Every change we make to our platform is designed with you at heart, and this update was inspired by the incredible feedback we received from last year’s couples and members survey. We hope you’ll love its fresh, editorial vibe, which reflects our unique approach to the venue search.
The Venue Finder
Our new Venue Finder combines familiarity with powerful new features designed to streamline your search for the perfect venue. You’ll still experience the seamless interaction you’re used to but with completely reimagined functionality that makes browsing faster, smoother, and more personalised than ever.
With user-friendly search tools, you can filter venues by essential criteria like location, type, capacity, and style, allowing you to find options tailored to your needs. Advanced feature filters make customisation effortless, helping you refine your choices to match your vision.
Listings
Our updated venue listings offer an inspiring browsing experience while putting essential details like pricing front and centre and providing helpful context such as what the price is based on (weekday/weekend and month) and if this includes key elements such as accommodation, multiple nights, food and drink – all for clearer comparisons. Each listing features high-quality galleries, video tours, and even virtual walk-throughs, giving you a real sense of each venue’s atmosphere before you visit. Plus, real testimonials from other couples and guests provide valuable insights to help inform your decision.
Favourites
The “Favourites” page remains your dedicated space to save and share shortlisted venues, blog features, and announcements for upcoming open days—all without any login requirements—no passwords, no stored data—just straightforward, hassle-free planning. From there, you can contact your saved venues individually or via our group message to save time. You can also share with friends and family, or just keep a for-your-eyes-only board of inspiration.
Collections
We know that sometimes, moving away from the constraints of a location can mean you find the venue you’ve always imagined. So, we’ve developed this edit of venues in Collections. You can start to get some inspiration by focusing on the most popular search criteria with our couples and see if you stumble across the dream location.
Late Availability
We’ve introduced a brand new section of the website for couples planning a wedding within nine months. Here, you can see all the venues with key availability in your chosen months or specific dates. Simply tap on any date within a venue’s calendar to send an enquiry for that particular date, and the venue team will be in touch!
