Nothing compares to the timeless romance of a country estate wedding and Northbrook Park is a truly spectacular setting for your special day. The venue boasts a stunning Grade II listed eighteenth-century manor house, set within 120 acres of idyllic parkland.
Guests will be wowed by the magnificence of the country manor as they make their way up the grand drive, lined with clusters of daffodils in the spring and majestic peacocks, symbolising good fortune, roam the grounds. The property sits peacefully on the Surrey and Hampshire border, a short distance from London – a romantic retreat within easy reach of the capital.
Northbrook Park has magnificent architecture and features a stunning Orangery and enchanting Vine Room with floor to ceiling windows, marble floors and crystal chandeliers.
Through a wooden door you will discover the Walled Gardens with a sunken central lawn, mature fruit trees and water features. Couples may choose to hold the blessing in the sunken garden, surrounded by herbaceous beds of aromatic rosemary, lavender and bay trees.
Between mistletoe entwined apple and plum trees, a small paved area provides the ideal space for musicians to serenade a drinks reception. As the sun sets, discreet lighting illuminates the garden while overhead spotlights make evening use of the garden possible too.
The venue accommodates outside catering with a choice of bringing in your own, or using Northbrook Park’s recommended suppliers.* Should you choose, your caterers can provide Champagne and wines for your celebration, or, if you would prefer, you can always supply them yourself; the bonus being that there are no corkage charges at Northbrook Park!
Although there is no accommodation on site, Northbrook Park Mews is in close proximity and includes a secluded Bridal retreat, perfect for your first night together. You can be whisked away from the party, chauffeured through the grounds, up a private road, to the hidden wooden chalet.
