For idyllic country charm and a breathtaking setting, our wonderful barn wedding venue in Oxfordshire is the perfect place to celebrate.

We provide a magical country setting, with authentic character meeting modern luxury.

Enter through the impressive wrought iron gates, continue along the tree-lined drive and arrive at our Cotswold stone barn. Stratton Court Barn offers plenty of authentic character, with warm honey-coloured stone walls, exposed wooden beams and a charming courtyard, setting the scene for a delightful country wedding.

When it comes to tying the knot, we offer several options, to find the perfect spot to tie in with the character of your wedding. You can choose to exchange your vows in the Main Barn, with the classic wooden arch as the focal point (perfect for sumptuous flowers!) or surrounded by your guests in a half-moon shape with the large windows at your back. However, in the summer months, we are delighted when couples choose to say ‘I do’ in the great outdoors – setting the scene for an al fresco wedding held in the picturesque courtyard.

Once the nuptials are complete, it’s time to celebrate and raise a glass with your loved ones. The courtyard is a real suntrap and perfect for a drinks reception in the warmer months. However, the bar area makes a wonderful alternative if the weather is inclement, offering plenty of space to mingle under the oak beams. While your guests are enjoying drinks and canapés, you can make full use of the reception lawn, the driveway and even the owners’ private garden to capture the most beautiful wedding photos.

While you are toasting your newlywed status with your nearest and dearest, we will have turned the Main Barn around to create the ideal setting for your wedding breakfast. Unless you choose to stay outdoors of course!

We work with a number of incredible caterers, meaning you can create the perfect wedding menu to suit your day. This includes a number of food vans too, to give your wedding that truly rustic and relaxed feel.

We simply adore a good party, and to that effect, we encourage bands small and large – and DJs – to perform in our bar area. Once you’ve danced your feet off, then once again the courtyard proves the perfect spot to hang out by the fire pit, or perhaps enjoy a craft gin (or two!) while soaking up the last rays of sunshine.
