Chapel House Estate Unveils New Glass Courtyard

Nestled between Canterbury and Ramsgate in the heart of Minster, Thanet, Chapel House Estate is already known for its charm. With its Arts and Crafts garden, Wild Apple Orchard, meadows, and historic buildings—including a chapel dating back to 1290—the Estate offers a dreamy setting for weddings and celebrations. Their team is all about making every event unforgettable, and with this new addition, Chapel House Estate is set to become the go-to spot for couples in Kent.

Construction on the Glass Courtyard will kick off in winter 2024/25. They will be working with local builders and suppliers to create a stunning oak-framed space that will bring a new level of elegance to the venue. This new area is perfect for intimate weddings and will allow guests to enjoy an ‘alfresco dining experience’ no matter the weather.

The Glass Courtyard is designed to blend seamlessly with the existing buildings, mixing modern design with the Estate’s timeless charm. Just like the kitchen is the heart of a home, we imagine the Courtyard will become a favourite spot where guests can relax and enjoy the atmosphere all year round.
