Our vision for this inspiration editorial came from the courtship between two cultures and heritages. A young Californian artist who marries into English aristocracy, at his family’s country manor in the Cotswolds. We wanted to marry the history of the old English countryside with the modern and glamorous free-spirited bride, to cater for the artisanal, romantic bride… The bride who strives to embrace life as an adventure, will dance in the rain and with regards to her wedding; wants to bring nature indoors for a fresh and all sensorial experience at her wedding.
We wanted to give a nod to the continued popularity of the pantone colour ‘greenery’ whilst retaining a wild and imperfect theme through the floral design but also by contradicting the glamour of the blush wedding dress with the fresh flowers in the brides’ hair for their traditional church ceremony.
