The romantic Northbrook Park in Surrey is the setting for this wonderful shoot. Rola Aina, the Wedding Planner behind The New Wonderful, styled a classic country garden wedding with modern elements such as the bride’s dress from Alon Livné via Les Trois Soeurs and her jewellery from Julie Peel.
Rola, Florist Catherine Short and I, wanted to create a wedding inspiration that felt luxurious, but in an understated way. Embracing natural colours and textures we opted for an unfussy concept that is beautiful but has a real sense of ease to it. The palette was shades of white and cream with light steel blues and greens.
Florist Catherine embraced this laid back luxury. She created different floral elements that echoed each other to create beautiful visual consistency. Amanda White also worked her magic with hair and make up creating a stunning, relaxed undo for the bride.
The gorgeous cake was made by Asha of Panache Cake Design. Asha used the shoot colour scheme as inspiration to produce a stunning cake, with simple but stunning sugar flowers and a grey marble tier.
The result is a fresh and modern looking shoot that could be replicated in Spring or Summer for the understated bride.
