Spring in the Garden is set at Waters Edge at Ewen, a true hidden gem tucked away in the picturesque Cotswolds countryside. With graceful swans gliding on the lake and your own private space, this intimate venue offers everything for a breathtaking wedding day. The venue’s rustic charm and stunning surroundings make it a perfect place for our modern, whimsical shoot.

Romantic, soft, fun, and authentic, our shoot celebrates the venue with a fresh, modern, and whimsical look that will leave you inspired. From the ceremony shots to the catering, cocktails, champagne towers, and a tablescape set for a feast, every detail exudes warm contemporary charm.

Our colour palette was spring pastels encompassing pink and peach tones with pops of soft yellows and delicate blues. Our main focus was bringing spring vibes into the wedding with fresh flowers and bright and light photography.

The morning started with getting ready shots of our bride in some stunning robes by Meeka, handcrafted from the finest sustainable materials and with contemporary elegance. Our bride’s finished look gives off Hollywood vibes with soft waves, gorgeously glowing makeup, and a stunning Suzi Quattro dress by Dando London, supplied by the lovely ladies at Gatehouse Brides. Our groom is in a gorgeous blush suit from The Cotswold Tailor, a colour that perfectly complements our soft, rustic, yet modern, sophisticated look.

I wanted the decor and styling to be delicate and authentic to the spring theme, bringing the garden with all its shades, textures and patterns to the table, keeping things crisp and bright and showcasing a beautiful tablescape with glassware, cutlery and crockery from The Luxe Collection and soft yellow draped napkins from The Knotted Napkin Co.

Rosabel Blooms brought the flowers to life with fresh British-grown flowers. An elevated and sophisticated English country garden setting with Harper Garden roses, Delphiniums, Canterbury bells, Sweet peas, and Stocks, along with the favourite Ranunculus and other spring flowers.

We wanted to show a bit of everything included in a wedding so couples can get a feel and visualise how a stylist can bring everything together so all elements work seamlessly together. Elegant details to showcase all suppliers involved allow couples to immerse themselves in this stunning venue, helping bring dreams into reality.
