Nicole & Sunny: A Dreamy Clifftop Wedding Weekend at The Penn Estate

The celebration kicked off with a rooftop drinks reception and culminated in a relaxed garden party, where guests enjoyed signature cocktails against the backdrop of The Castle Terrace. Of course, across three days bride Nicole dazzled in an array of outfits! We’re handing over to Kiya at the venue for all the details…

The Venue

Sunny and Nicole Chose The Penn Estate because it allowed them to hire the entire Estate for a three-day celebration. Having exclusive use of The Castle and the five luxury Clifftops Lodges meant they could celebrate over a long weekend, with all of their loved ones able to stay on-site for the duration. Of course, the incredible location and stunning sea views were what initially made them fall in love with the Estate.

The Fashion

Nicole wore several incredible outfits across the weekend. She wore a white bodycon dress for her welcome party, followed by a red-patterned mini-dress for the evening celebrations and photos on the first day. For her wedding day, Nicole wore two dresses. For their garden party on their final day, Nicole opted for a stunning jumpsuit. Her bridesmaids stunned in pale pink multiway dresses.

The wedding weekend

They kicked off their weekend of celebrations by utilising the clifftops roof terrace for a drinks reception on Friday night to welcome their friends and family who were staying on the Estate. The stunning sea view served as a unique and beautiful backdrop for the gathering and set the tone for the rest of the festivities.

The couple’s wedding day was like a true fairytale, as every detail was taken care of with utmost perfection. They had separate spaces to prepare for the day – the bridal suite and Clifftops lodges. The ceremony was held under The Pagoda, which had a breathtaking backdrop. It was a beautiful sunny day in May, which made it the perfect place to exchange vows.

The drinks reception was held on the castle terrace, where the guests were entertained by the unique dohl drums, which paid homage to Sunny’s heritage. During this time, the newlyweds took a break and went to our waterfall to spend some quality time together. It was the perfect spot to escape for a quiet moment and was the photographer’s dream location!

The final day of their celebrations was spent relaxing on The Castle Terrace with their closest friends and family. They hired a cocktail bar with staff to provide signature cocktails for their guests throughout the day. This was the perfect use of their exclusive 3-day hire and an ideal way to end the weekend of celebrations.
