Nothing screams “Friday vibes” more than cocktails, a sequin mini dress, and a generous dose of Miami glam!

Actually, who am I kidding? I’d take this any day of the week! Just add some lush botanical styling, tropical stationery, and vibrant coral drapes for an extra bold touch.

Today’s juicy editorial is set against the stunning backdrop of Curds Hall Barn and is the perfect way to ring in the weekend, bringing Miami’s lively spirit to Norfolk’s peaceful countryside. As a versatile setting, its high vaulted ceilings and rustic charm effortlessly adapt to any wedding theme, making it an ideal choice for glamorous and bohemian celebrations alike.

Well, folks, all that’s left to do is scroll away and enjoy—if you manage to get to the end without breaking out the cocktail shaker, you’re a stronger person than me!

Notes from the Venue

Eleanor says…

Curds Hall Barn, an exclusive-use venue within 12 acres of parkland under the expansive Norfolk skies, is a stunning rural barn with high vaulted ceilings, dark wood cladding, and atmospheric lighting. This versatile blank canvas is perfect for glamorous events. With the unique offering of on-site accommodation and a three-day hire period, couples can personalise the space for an entire weekend, allowing for a truly memorable and flexible event.

This glam-styled shoot features a bold colour palette, tropical florals, and daring details inspired by Miami’s bright colours, glamour, and fun. The summery peach fuzz trend influenced a palette of warm peachy corals with shades of green.

Bridal looks focused on contemporary glam for long gowns and a party vibe for the evening, encouraging adventurous choices like sequins, ruffles, cut-outs, statement veils, and oversized bows. Hair was styled soft and loose with curls or relaxed, low buns paired with tiered veils and statement earrings. Makeup was glowing and soft, with rich eyeliner adding a pop of colour for a Miami-inspired look.

The shoot showcased bold coral, orange, and green colours in fabric drapes and dramatic lighting. Lush faux tropical plants and trees created a vibrant backdrop, enhanced with tropical florals and mirror balls. Dining tables featured contemporary stationery, black crockery, cutlery, and textured napkins in the colour palette. A statement-hanging installation combined fresh and faux tropical foliage with gold and green palm leaves and wicker light shades.

Charlotte Staff Flowers used bold, colourful stems and statement foliage leaves to tie fresh flower designs with the faux greenery decor. Styled shoots like this inspire couples and showcase the work of talented local businesses, offering statement pieces that can be used in isolation for a real wow factor. This shoot encourages couples to experiment with bold colours and daring details in their wedding scheme.
