Libby & Jacob’s Wedding at Southdowns Manor

Written by Emma Hla
In June, Libby and Jacob celebrated their summer wedding at Southdowns Manor.

The venue’s breathtaking surroundings set the stage for an unforgettable celebration flawlessly orchestrated by an amazing team. Prepare for an explosion of soft summery pastels and seasonal flowers in delicate shades of peach, pale pink, and lilac. The venue blossomed!

Notes from the Bride

Libby says…

The venue’s surroundings were breathtaking, and the team working there was amazing.

Our wedding party looked stunning in their attire: soft green bridesmaids’ dresses complemented by navy suits with matching ties and pocket squares.

Our florals were a dream come true, as I took it upon myself to handle the flower arrangements, a labour of love. We chose seasonal flowers and foliage in peach, pale pink, and lilac shades. Roses, peonies, and dahlias adorned the venue beautifully.

The three-tiered buttercream cake was a delight, offering three delicious flavours: chocolate, raspberry ripple, and lemon.

Our photographer, Nicki Lyall Photography, understood our vision for natural and candid photos. She went above and beyond to capture the essence of our special day.

The outdoor ceremony in the pagoda was a highlight. Despite my initial apprehension about the hot weather forecast, it was a beautiful choice. The addition of decorations to the structure provided the perfect finishing touch.

For anyone considering an outdoor ceremony, I wholeheartedly recommend going for it. It added an extra touch of magic to our day.
