Jess & Rheanne’s Sandon Manor Wedding

Their wedding was a multi-day celebration, starting with an intimate civil ceremony in the Manor House followed by a second ceremony in the Hall, where friends and family gathered. The couple loved the venue’s flexibility, offering diverse spaces to cater to the different elements of their wedding weekend. The vibrant orange, royal blue, and soft pink florals by Grove Flora added a burst of colour and joy to the festivities. In August, Jess and Rheanne married at Sandon Manor, beginning their weekend stay with an intimate civil ceremony in the Manor House. On Saturday, they had another ceremony in the stunning East Wing Ceremony Hall in front of all their friends and family, led by Rheanne’s Aunt, followed by a laid-back meal in the gardens with their closest family and friends on Sunday. Their wedding weekend was a perfect blend of style and relaxation, creating a natural and unforgettable atmosphere for all who attended.

“Sandon created a perfect backdrop for our look; we loved the traditional house, which perfectly complimented the stylish interiors, which was perfect for our bridal party to spend the weekend, also providing beautiful gardens where we had our reception, incredible ceremony hall and lastly the impressive barn which I don’t think anyone was expecting to look so amazing – it’s a work of art! What we thought worked so well with the venue is all the different areas it has, all for different parts of the day, so it perfectly breaks everything up, and you have the opportunity to make the most of it all – it couldn’t have been a more perfect venue for us” – J&R.

Jess and Rheanne seized the opportunity to capture some breathtaking and fun couples’ photos, making the most of our rural surroundings along footpaths and lanes. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for these intimate, carefree moments.

Rheanne hand-wrote almost everything, and Maid of Honour Amelia drew the menu with their meal’s different elements. They used vintage French liquor bottles and a cork to hold table names, all pubs that meant something to the couple. The flowers were mainly orange with some royal blue and softer pinks, which we had in the ceremony hall, and in many different sized and shaped glass and condiment vases, which Jess’ mum has been collecting throughout the last year!

“We wanted to base our style around orange and worked with our florist Nic from Grove Flora on a palette around this, which we used throughout the flowers and stationery”.

Carte Blanche provided the catering, serving a delicious range of hot & cold canapés during the drinks reception, including hot black cod with miso, Welsh rarebit tarts with onion confit and crispy pea arancini. For dessert, Rheanne’s Gran made a selection of pavlova. Carte Blanche offers an absolute foodies approach to creating dishes. Everything is made from scratch in their professional kitchens with attention to detail and love. Presentation is just as important as taste and deliciousness. They love to cook with the seasons and create unique menus for every event.

With sunny drinks on the lawn, their first dance outside under the summerhouse, bouquet throwing and an unforgettable party that kept the energy high and the dance floor packed, Jess & Rheanne made the most of Sandon Manor as a magical canvas in which to bring their dream wedding to life.
