Couples put so much effort into just one day, it’s unsurprising that the trend for longer celebrations is growing. An outdoor wedding is perfect for an extended party, since tipis/marquees and bell tents are generally up for 3-4 days anyway!
These styled set-ups are to give some inspiration for a wedding weekender. Starting on Friday evening with an outdoor cinema night with popcorn and hotdogs, a Saturday morning scavenger hunt, informal sharing platters, an evening ceremony, pizzas and desserts and a survivors breakfast on Sunday morning.
We live in such a busy world, and a wedding day just flies by, as I’m sure you’ve already heard. A wedding weekender gives more time to spend with friends and family and what better place to do this than in your own patch of idyllic countryside.
We went for a new age boho vibe with macramé, crystals, succulents dreamcatchers and feathers. The wedding dress was actually created in just under 3 days specifically for this shoot by Nortier Shallow based on our brief. We featured real couple Catriona and Angus who recently married for real!
