The Setting

Spirit Lake is situated in the Surrey Hills, in a beautiful 30 acre space of natural woodland and parkland. Featuring a novel walled garden and two pristine lakes it’s a glorious and idyllic setting for an outdoor wedding.

Just 10 minutes south of Dorking and 18 minutes from the M25, it’s ideally placed for guests travelling from Kent, East and West Sussex as well as Surrey. Local rail links include Dorking and Holmwood stations. The site offers secure parking and mains water supply. Two showers are available at additional cost. The venue also has a two bedroom apartment available for a minimum two night stay.

The Vibe

Spirit Lake offers a secluded and beautiful lakeside setting for your wedding day. Your celebration should be all about you and totally reflect your style. Whether that’s festival, boho, vintage or glam, Spirit Lake offers you a blank canvas to create whatever vibe your hearts desire.

The venue offers great flexibility and the space can be used in a variety of ways. If you are opting for an outdoor blessing you can choose between the walled garden, the woodland clearing or in front of one of the lakes. There’s plenty of room for your tipi/marquee and you could create a little bell tent village or dot them around the lake.

It’s totally secluded with stunning views of trees, water and nature and the area around one of the lakes is inhabited by deer, rabbits, geese and ducks. Access can be via a pretty walk through Bluebell Wood, or take the more direct route from the parking area. Tractor/trailer rides are also an option.

No corkage or preferred suppliers. Coordination is also available should you need a little helping hand.

All on one level with no stairs. Disabled access toilet facilities can be hired in.

Not only was the Spirit Lake site absolutely stunning, but having made an initial booking just before Covid hit, the guys were hugely patient and flexible with us as our plans changed more than a few times. We had a perfect weekend and that was in no small part thanks to Nikki, Bruce and Carole being hugely accommodating and understanding of what we wanted to achieve. Our wedding day at Spirit Lake was absolutely perfect. The first decision we made while planning was to have an outdoor venue, so that we had total flexibility with vendors and other elements of the day. We loved that we were able to customize every aspect of the day, and we are so grateful to all our vendors and family/friends who worked to make it happen! It was also important to us to provide a range of easy-accommodation options for our guests, so Spirit Lake was perfect with nearby hotels and on-site glamping and free camping.

We came across Fiesta Fields on line, we met Nikki and Kim who showed me a few fields, one of them was Spirit Lake. It is a beautiful garden with a woodland area, a walled garden and two beautiful lakes. Kim was very helpful in the run up to the event, arranging the toilets, generator and security for the day but also suggested some great suppliers from the tipi to the bell tents. The day could not have been better! I highly recommend Fiesta Fields and Spirit Lake for anyone wanting a fun, laid back festival wedding!

Fiesta Fields hosted my wedding day last weekend, and from the start of the process they have been great! Nikki got the ball rolling and then introduced me to Kim who I then worked closely with right up to the big day! She was thorough and her attention to detail was incredible! Even faced with a quite drastic centrepiece change the day before, she sent me home to relax and sorted the whole thing and sent me a photo the next morning to assure me it was OK! I’ve loved working with Kim and am so thankful for everything she did. My wedding day was a huge success and she made sure I had a day I will never forget.
