It seems appropriate that whilst I’m off gallivanting on my own styled shoot adventure today, I share with you another little treasure created by the talented folks at Pennard House.
Pennard House is a true gem of a venue surrounded by rolling Somerset countryside, it’s the perfect setting for the rustic, boho and vintage loving amongst you. Georgina, stylist extraordinaire, wanted to tell the story of the steps a bride takes when marrying in this beautiful location.
I love how honest and natural these images are and they also allow a glimpse into how utterly perfect Pennard House is…

Pennard House: The fashion and elegance of the 1920’s is so influential in inspiring beauty in the 21st Century so we used the beautiful and atmospheric gardens and rooms of Pennard House as a backdrop for a shoot emulating 1920’s glamour with a modern twist.
With bespoke lace veils from Lucy Hayes, vintage china from Idyllic Days, floristry from Nicky Llewellyn and graceful gowns from Days of Grace and Abbey Brides, this beautifully romantic shoot produced images evoking a sense of dreamy, wistful wedding glamour while showing the real diversity available for our brides at Pennard House.
The shoot reflected the bride’s journey starting with getting ready in the Bridal Suite, floating down the grand staircase into the Civil Ceremony room then out through the Conservatory into the stunning gardens and finishing with the bride in the Coach House for the Wedding Breakfast.
Hopefully providing our brides with some inspiration for how to design a vintage style wedding at Pennard House.
