The Little Lending Co. is a unique and alternative hire company and quite simply, it’s captured my heart. I’m more than a little smitten with their story, ethos and effortless style. You only have to hop across to Penny’s Instagram to see what I mean (I’m a little obsessed).
But this Loved by Coco is rather special because Penny has decided to show us what she does best by styling the prettiest boudoir shoot – think blushing English rose, bespoke gowns and the most delicate of florals.
I’m a huge fan of the precious “getting-ready” moments, in fact it was very much one of the favourite parts of my own wedding day and certainly something a Bride-to-be should think about… It’s such a special time.
Oh, and this delicious shoot also just happens to have taken place at the epic Godwick Hall which is *coming soon* to the Coco Wedding Venues directory!
Gosh, I’m so excited I’m off to sit down… But do stay a while and read on lovelies.
Oh yes, read on…

My name is Penny and I live in Norfolk with my wonderful new husband and two cats Tink and Denzel. I am self-confessed social media addict and my favourite way to spend an evening is having Fish and Chips at the beach!
With my background in Fashion design, I have always loved being creative and had an eye for things that are a little different. After getting married last year I just knew I wanted to be involved with weddings and help create unique styled days using all the curiosities I had been collecting for my own day.
And so The Little Lending Co. was born…
My The Little Lending Co. vision is to offer something to stylish and creative brides in the area. And to be honest I just love chatting about wedding plans and getting that little buzz of excitement all over again!
About Us
The Little Lending Company is an alternative hire company offering a unique and eclectic range of decor accessories and props…
We have all those little extras that will help make your day a little offbeat and perfectly laid back. Simple, timeless pieces are our specialty and we are always adding to our evolving range. We also up-cycle items, giving tired pieces a new spin. From old watering cans and antlers, milk churns to sack races… Oh and not forgetting our beautiful Vintage bike!

The Little Lending Co. is relaxed, rustic and eclectic.
I really hope to inspire Brides through our blog posts and styled shoot collaborations. I love searching out local suppliers on my wave length looking to do something outside that ‘wedding box’ but ultimately still keep a simplicity and ease to everything.
We have a growing inventory, and always searching for other ideas to make your weddings stand out.
Boudoir Love
The idea of our ‘Beautiful Boudoir’ shoot just fell into place when I saw The Sara Garner Suite at Godwick. It was love at first sight. It’s the type of room that you dream of getting ready in for your wedding day. Pure luxury.
The room itself has an incredible 4 poster bed with sheer drapes and a freestanding bath with a floor to ceiling window which floods the space with most wonderful light. I just knew I had to set up a simple but timeless shoot to show Brides just how beautiful you feel on that morning of the best day ever.
I know from my own day, that from the minute you wake up you are full of an overwhelming excitement and adrenaline like no other and those first few hours getting ready and anticipating the day ahead are so precious. I really hope the shoot captures how special that morning is and gets a few Brides-to-be excited for theirs to come.

Georgie was just the look we wanted, naturally stunning and oh so pretty! Georgina Suzanne worked her magic on the day, giving our girl that fresh morning glow. Inspired by an English Rose, with blush cheeks there is a gorgeous innocence to the make-up. With Nails by Betty’s Beauty using an opaque beige nude on fingers and a light coral orange with a subtle shimmer on the toes.
Zany’s Hair Boutique worked on creating some volume before loosely pinning hair into a Topknot, for a cool and easy ‘just-done’ look and pieces from Melissa Morgan Design’s bespoke vintage accessories to give a little sparkle.
Bishbee’s made a bespoke set of cami and French knicker shorts for the shoot, Ivory satin striped with a lace trim and a contrast satin bow at the back. I really love their use of pattern and texture to create their pieces that Brides can really treasure. A nude/pink Kimono in satin backed crepe gown was also made – they have such a unique handwriting and something new on the bridal nightwear scene for more relaxed brides.
After our little lingerie section we had the most sensational dress made by Screen the Starlet. A 1950’s inspired piece with so much tulle to have some fun with! A fitted bodice embroided with intricate chord work and sequins gave the shoot an understated glamour.

The look was completed with Donna at the Country Garden Florist creating the most sensational bouquet for our girl. This bouquet had to be all about the romance – and you don’t get more romantic than Roses! We chose Dreamland Roses for their vintage look and teamed them with Spray Roses, Viburnum Opulus for a modern zing of lime, cream Stocks for their heavenly scent and cream Astilbe to add a soft feathery texture.
With the bath flowers, we wanted to echo the bouquet but add a wilder touch. We used Dreamland Roses again, along with the zingy lime Viburnum Opulus, but then added Ranunculus for its beautiful delicate buds, deep pink Crab Apple Blossom and Wild Ivy to give it a natural, overgrown feel.
I lit some of my glass cylinder candles from the hire range of The Little Lending Co. to create extra detail – I just love the look of the flickering candles by the tub.
I would like to say a massive thank you to all involved for helping bring the vision to life. But especially Photographers LP Photography and DS Photography for these amazing images.

How gorgeous is this boudoir shoot…?
So natural, honest and pretty.
You absolutely must take a peek at The Little Lending Co. if you’re currently on the hunt for rustic touches and a styling hand for your own wedding or party!
Penny’s advice is to pick timeless pieces with character, as those are the items that are going to make a talking point on the day and for years to come…
The Little Lending Co. don’t offer specific packages for Brides, as they like to stay flexible to couples needs and each and every request is different…
Perfection.
