Bridal Boutique Tour of Britten Weddings

by Emma Hla
Images by Heart Full of Tea.

Earlier this month I got in my Mini and set off on a little road trip to the West… My destination was Bradford-on-Avon with a little overnight stop in Bath (you may have seen my glamorous accommodation on Instagram!) My 24 hour mission was to visit not one, not two but four beautiful wedding brands and today I’m going to take you on part of my journey.

When you have an online business it’s quite easy to get stuck staring at a screen for days or weeks on end, so it’s always rather lovely (and important!) getting out to meet the people we know and love in this little industry bubble. One of our faves has to be Britten Weddings. Not only because I’m an absolute veil fiend (I swear I would wear one everyday if it was socially acceptable) but also because behind this bridal accessories empire is a seriously stylish husband & wife.

Sarah Jane, Matthew and their team live and work in this overwhelmingly beautiful town and all of their accessories are entirely English-made using the finest materials whilst still maintaining an affordable luxury for Brides. Their boutique is simple yet breath-taking and totally inspiring! I was so lucky to have Emma from Heart Full of Tea on hand to capture the pretty.

This feature is most definitely image heavy because there’s just so much to show you, but I’ve also managed to squeeze in a few words from Sarah Jane & Matthew too…

Enjoy!

Notes from Britten weddings

Sarah Jane & Matthew:

The boutique carries our entire range of Britten accessories, Wedding Garter Co. garters and our new scents collection. It is crammed with pretty things and while you sip your coffee and chat to Sarah Jane or Alex you’ll be able to see us hard at work in our open plan workshop and veil making room – it’s a unique experience!

The words that best describe our brand are unique, handmade and service. You won’t find Britten products anywhere else. Every design was created by Sarah Jane and every piece is handmade in our workshop from scratch. When you combine this with our obsessively good service we think it’s a great combination and our Brides seem to agree! We answer every e-mail speedily, often within minutes, are always happy to chat on the phone and even have instant chat on our website – communication is so important!

We want to make our clients happy, it’s really that simple! We aim to get every part of what we do right – the beautiful pieces are just the start – and make our brides smile when they order, receive and wear their Britten or Garter Co. pieces.

So you want everything right…?

If you are now coveting a veil then you can read Britten’s simple tips here. If you’re keen to discover more then simply visit www.brittenweddings.com or follow the team on your social media of choice;

Oh and if the imagery caught your eye then Heart Full of Tea are currently offering a free mini-album worth £250 for any remaining dates in 2016, just head on over to Emma’s FB page, give her a like and quote ‘MINIALBUM’ on enquiring. You can check out the full Loved by Coco feature here!

Lots of love…
