If you follow any of my lifestyle posts over on B.LOVED then you’ll know I spend far too much time and money in Whistles.

When I heard that this particular brand were launching their first wedding collection, I may have been just a bit too excited. I sadly couldn’t attend the recent Press Day (I was gallivanting in a wood taking photos for a new venue!) but the gorgeous Julie Michaelsen Photography popped by to capture the pretty.

Designed for the modern bride, Whistles Wedding will comprise of seven limited pieces in a range of versatile silhouettes including stepped hems, strapless, contemporary one shoulder and a refined high neck dress alongside a timeless jumpsuit.

Adorned in beautiful fabrics; delicate lace, organza jacquard, embroidered tulle and luxurious silk, and featuring internally boned bodices, each style is elegantly designed with subtle detailing including; scalloped edges, detachable trains, modem ruffles and finished with beautifully tied feminine back details…”

I’m loving the recent High Street additions to bridal wear and it’s something that was very much lacking when I hit the shops 3 years ago! A welcome addition to the bridal fashion scene, it’s the perfect nod to the contemporary bride.

Whilst I wouldn’t swap the experience with my beautiful bridal boutique (the customer service and choice of designers was second to none) I personally would have loved to swap my wedding dress for a Whistles lace bridal jumpsuit in the evening! I would also have loved to treat my best girls to something a little less bridesmaid-y. Ya know…?

Items will retail at £499 – £699 and are available exclusively online at and in the Whistles London flagship store located on St. Christopher’s Place W1, where customers can make private bridal appointments for the bride and bridesmaids.
