Wedding Styling at Godwick Great Barn

This has to be one of our favourite duos, absolutely seen at their best in this beautiful autumnal real love feature… Oh yes, The Little Lending Co. & Godwick Great Barn are a match made in wedding heaven.

So when I heard that they were teaming up to offer couples marrying at Godwick a styling consultation and service, I just had to tell you all about it because look, it’s all so ruddy gorgeous!

James, owner of this stunning wedding venue in Norfolk, is here to tell us a little more about this partnership with Penny and his words are perfectly illustrated by some images of these super cool styling stations by The Little Lending Co.

We love the The Little Lending Company at Godwick and are so pleased (and honoured) to have Penny, owner of LLC, as one of our wedding planners. Not only is Penny a dab hand at organising and planning, but her attention to detail and natural skill for styling is second-to-none.

She is the décor queen and really knows how to style a venue to make an impact, which is why we are so very pleased that she has agreed to take on an additional role at Godwick and act as our in-house styling consultant. That means every Godwick couple that books the barn from now will have an initial venue styling consultation to talk wedding style for the best part of an hour with our very own style expert.

Godwick Great Barn, with all its majesty and magnificence, can be a little daunting for a couple faced with a large blank space to fill and personalise both inside and out, so some guidance of what can work and what’s gone before can also be really useful.

An initial consultation service is available to all couples free of charge and we really hope it sparks your imagination!

I’m excited to be able to offer Godwick couples an initial venue styling consultation. Couples can use it as a chance to find out how to make the most of the space and start thinking about what they want to achieve with their wedding décor.”

If you’re a new Godwick couple all you need to do is start gathering your styling ideas and mood boards (Pinterest and Instagram are great for this) and think about what is as a couple that you stand for. What’s the vibe, what’s the feeling, what’s the type of atmosphere that you are trying to create at your celebration and bring those thoughts and ideas and pictures along to your consultation and chat them through with Penny.

It’s great to do this as it really helps crystalize your thoughts and make sense of what you’re trying to achieve. I can personally vouch for Penny’s brilliance, she helped us style our wedding adding lots of great little touches that make such a difference and help create the WOW factor!

So to all new Godwick couples… happy styling and creating, it really is the most fun part of the wedding planning (alongside the wine, beer and gin tasting that is!)
