Top Tips
Your musical vibe
Think about the vibe you want, the music you love, your range of guests, and your band’s repertoire… your perfect wedding party is right in the middle of that Venn diagram!
Watch and listen
When you pick your wedding band, promo vids and sample tracks are king, and you’re on the judging panel! Watch, listen, go with your feelings, and enjoy. *It’s a yes from me!*
Logistical planning
Venue logistics, like performance area and access, are essential to whether you can have that 20-piece jazz orchestra, so check before you book. Many bands can work within the limits of a venue’s volume restrictions – check out Alive Network’s range of sound-limiter-friendly bands.
Timing is everything
If you’ve got your heart set on a band, book early to avoid disappointment. Most bands are booked up to a year in advance – some far longer – so start your search as early as possible. But don’t worry; Alive Network’s Entertainment Coordinators can recommend similar alternatives.
Don’t take our word for it!
Reading customer reviews will give you an insight into your potential band’s party style and service and what your wedding party will be like under their guardianship. Each band has their own reviews page, or you can check out Alive Network’s review centre, where there are over 30,000 customer reviews.
