A little venue focus for you lovely lot today because this is too pretty not to share!

This beautiful family house has a long and rich history. In the past 400 years it has been at the heart of politics, philosophy and social thought whilst located in the hidden heart of Wimborne St Giles.

In recent times an award winning restoration has seen it brought back to life and become a family home once again.

We are now excited to share it with you… Meet St Giles House in Dorset.

St Giles House provides an unforgettable experience for you and your loved one to marry in a truly stunning setting. The house is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and there are many locations for you to choose from:

House – Grand & Inspiring

Surrounded by fireplaces and old master paintings, you can be married in any of the principle rooms in the house. An unforgettable setting full of history. St Giles can personalise your ceremony to tailor it to your taste.

Park – Timeless & Natural

Providing you sign the register indoors you can choose the rest of your ceremony to be under the clouds anywhere in the park and let nature be your muse. Perfect for a Spring/Summer wedding when you can enjoy the beautiful setting at St Giles and create timeless photographs. No Limit.

Grotto – Intimate & Romantic

This delicate Shell Grotto forms part of the ‘Pleasure Grounds’ built in the early 18th Century using shells brought back from the Caribbean. It’s perfect for couples looking to wed in a unique and magical setting. Maximum 20 guests.

Church – Spiritual & Traditional

Wimborne St Giles Church is next door to St Giles House and was restored by the gothic revival architect Sir Ninian Comper. If you’re seeking something more traditional in your ceremonial vows, the Church is the epitome of dignified grace. Maximum 120 guests.

Hauntingly beautiful isn’t it. You can discover this Fine Art Country House in a little more detail right here.

Lots of love…
