Torre de Tramores is our latest addition to our Delicious Destination collection. Set on over 600 hectares of completely private woodland, this enchanting estate is hidden away in the hills behind the traditional village of Benahavis in the Andalusian region of Southern Spain.

Butler & White, working in collaboration with Torre de Tramores, are now able to offer intimate, exclusive and very special wedding packages. Tramores has accommodation for 19 people, with a maximum of 45 guests for an exceptional but small wedding day.

To show you around the venue we have this beautiful elopement styled shoot, designed by Claire at Butler & White and captured by Agata Jensen.

Notes from Butler & White

Claire says…

We headed to the private estate of Torre de Tramores for our Spanish inspirational shoot, the hidden estate is tucked away in a wooded valley behind the Andalucian village of Benahavis. This beautiful peaceful estate was once the Spanish holiday hideaway of Princess Diana and the young Princes and is an idyllic setting for an intimate wedding or elopement. Inspiration for the shoot came from the wonderful Spanish manor farmhouse itself with lots of Moroccan references, Mallorcan Ikat texiles & Spanish antiques being used in the gorgeous interior. Combined with lush foliage, climbing vines and cascading water, the setting is perfect and very inspiring.

We selected a stunning gown from Augusta Jones in a soft caramel scheme. The femininity of the lace bodice and layers of soft organza in the A-line skirt looked beautiful in the Spanish light. We chose hair vines from the “Gardens of Earthly Delights” collection by Agnes Walker for the bride & flower girls. Our bride wore a luxurious golden hair vine with beautifully crafted brass leaves. This looked stunning against the very soft romantic hair styling.

Our gorgeous flower girls wore beautiful dresses by Wild & Gorgeous in cream and peach. The Emma dress is pure silk chiffon with beautiful tiny beading detail and has a wonderful vintage style. The wood nymph dress in cream and peach also has the loveliest wildflower embroidered lace flutter sleeves and hem. Two of our flower girls wore headpieces by Agnes Walker also in antique brass and two flower girls opted for a simple velvet bow in their hair.

Our groom wore a light weight suit from Zara in a soft grey tone, accompanied by a simple navy bow tie. Perfect for a destination wedding.

Within the grounds are the ruins of an historic Moorish tower dating back to the 10th century, this made the perfect ceremony backdrop. The sound of running water from river surrounds you and the mountain views are breath taking.

We kept the florals simple opting for white spring flowers. With so much lush vegetation and natural beauty we wanted just a few key floral pieces. The bride carried a simple hand-tied bouquet of white ranunculus, tulips and scabious mixed with olive and pistacio, tied with naturally dyed silk ribbon in dark caramel.

The flower girls had simple copper hoops dressed with pistachio, olive and white tulips. These were light and easy for the girls to carry and they enjoyed playing with hoops!

Our tablescape was a beautiful mix of Moroccan brass chargers, antique candlesticks, brass budvases and single stems of spring flowers. The table was white marble and dressed with a soft caramel silk chiffon table runner. We wanted to create layers of textures on the table and a mixture of warm caramel tones. Soft linen napkins add another texture to the brass charger plates. Handmade paper stationery and calligraphy finish the look.

Inspired by the tiles in the farmhouse, we chose miniature ceramic hexagonal boxes with a Moorish design as favours. Against the antique green tiles, the boxes look like magical gifts for waiting guests.

The cake by Sweet Things by Fi was hand-painted with ranunculus flowers using an edible gold icing. The combination of gold and blush tones alongside the subtle marble effect was stunning. Sugar flowers in blush, rose and white finished the look.

The terrace seating area includes a wonderful soft lounge area for guests to enjoy the mountain view as the sun disappears. We love the Mallorcan Ikat design that is used to dress this area.

The setting is a wonderful mix of rustic styling, crumbling ruins and rambling vines. The soft caramel scheme reminds us of long summer nights and the wonderful golden hour of light that photographers crave in Spain. Agata Jensen captured all the warmth and soft romantic details beautifully in this inspirational shoot.
