All of this loveliness is set against the rather dramatic Blairquhan, a fabulous Scottish castle and one of our newest additions to the Coco Collection.
Below is a sample of the shoot captured by Charmaine Gittens (who also just so happens to the Makeup Artist too!) but make sure you click through to the full gallery where you’ll see bridal looks galore – there’s some very pretty updos I must say!
Charmaine:
Fine diamond necklaces and custom-designed wedding bands were hand picked for this classic bridal photoshoot. We wanted to showcase the real craft of jewellery making by incorporating high quality unique pieces designed by Tom at Ayr Goldsmiths.
Blairquhan Castle is a hidden gem of a wedding venue set within luscious acres of rolling hills on the Ayrshire coast of Scotland. Steeped in history, Blairquhan is a truly classic and romantic location.
Simple and elegant pure white gypsophila was incorporated into the styling along with lavender bouquets to compliment the décor of the main suite within Blairquhan.
A wonderful teal coloured three-tier cake was wrapped in edible lace and cleverly designed by Kirsty at Vivacious Cakes.
A small collection of wedding dresses at Glass Slipper boutique were used for this bridal photoshoot, ranging from vintage vibes through to full-on-glamour!
Gorgeous tousled hair was created to compliment each dress which looked natural yet elegant. For the makeup we went soft with pink rosebud lips through to strong reds for a bolder look.

How pretty…?
I love the soft vintage feel to Charmaine’s photography and the pale lavender combined with sumptuous purples and teal have a rather royal feel. Perfect for a castle affair!
I also have brow envy.
Thank you so much to the lovely team involved in this shoot…
