For anyone following me on Instagram, you will also see that yellow plays a big part in my home style! Indeed, yesterday I went and bought some pretty little daffodils to brighten up my little Coco corner, there is something so very uplifting about this fresh seasonal colour don’t you think…?
To put my usual spin on things I wanted to take this Spring palette and mix it up with a Bohemian edge. So I present Mellow Yellow… A spectrum that covers citrine lemons, canary tones through to creamy ambers.
Why not decorate the bridal tipi with a delicate garland of barely yellow blooms, get creative with your florals and opt for unusual sprigs and greeny-yellow tones for a luscious fresh look, or go simple with the ultimate in Boho flower – the daisy. Sweeten your cake and opt for a lemon naked cake with creamy frosting, wrap up on those chilly Spring evenings in a warm knit over your bridal gown, or better yet shine from head to toe in chartreuse lace. For the boys – there’s nothing better that a Billy Ball bout for a pop of colour. Keep accompanying tones simple and fresh – think sage greens and creamy whites. You could even throw in pale peach – the perfect fruity friend.
