Well ok no, maybe not right now considering the current climes, but you could just make a steaming mug of sweet hot chocolate and live vicariously through this stunning beach wedding inspiration created by the uber talented Charlotte Bryer-Ash Photography and Rachel from Exquisitely You.

This shoot features the simplest of bridal dresses, a happy real life couple, a perfect coastal-inspired aisle backdrop and the prettiest of bouquets by Clair Lythgoe, which includes my fave floral – the Cafe au Lait Dahlia. Trust me, you’ll be running straight to your florist to be requesting it for your big day!

Charlotte: I designed this shoot with Rachel from Exquisitely You, we wanted to create clean, minimal styling with a relaxed seaside feel. I adore the backdrop – a simple timber frame with soft fabric is just perfect for a beach ceremony.

We really wanted to tap into the fabulous local talent in Dorset, home to some incredible wedding suppliers and locations. Clair Lythgoe, Wedding & Event florist, used a lush peach dahlia as a centrepiece for a stunning bridal bouquet edged with cascading green amaranthus.

We wanted to embrace the raw coastal surroundings whilst adding the odd rustic touch such as the wooden cake stand. Be creative with your cake if you’re having one – twists of raffia complement roses and hydrangeas for a gorgeous design with colours and textures. 

With a palette of soft colours and textures reflecting the romance of the sea, a gorgeous flower crown, a dapper suit (provided by Well Groomed) and a beautiful but affordable Monsoon wedding dress, I truly loved photographing this shoot!
