For Ellie and Paul, it’s where their friends and family gathered for their July wedding celebration. From the moment they stepped onto its historic grounds on their first visit, they knew it was the one for them. With the help of the exceptional in-house team, this gorgeous couple created a little bit of summer magic.

Launcells Barton was not just a venue; it was a dream come true, a place that resonated with our hearts. We are so, so happy we found it.
As soon as you arrive at the venue, you are struck by its history and personality. Lara and her husband have done such a wonderful job of regenerating the grounds, a perfect balance of modern and classic. The attention to detail is impeccable, and we felt confident that, come rain or shine, Launcells Barton would provide a stunning setting for our wedding day. And it sure did!
Miraculously, we had a sunny day, which was sandwiched between days of pouring rain. Our ceremony took place in the garden; we needed very little decoration due to the beautiful hydrangea bush and clever planting already in place at Launcells. I also have to shout out the rustic brickwork of the garden walls, as they make for a great backdrop in our wedding pictures.
The whole weekend felt luxurious and romantic, particularly the house; it was such a tranquil space. One of my favourite memories was looking out of the huge sash windows of the house as I got ready, watching all the guests arrive. When we woke up the next morning, my husband and I did the same thing, remembering the day.
The venue speaks for itself, but what truly sets Launcells apart from the rest is the team. They were not just welcoming and reassuring; they instilled in us a deep sense of trust. Their excellent guidance and support were a constant reassurance, and their exceptional communication ensured that whatever arose, the Launcells team would manage it expertly.
We must mention Layla in particular; she has her own fan club among our friends and family, who continually told us what a Pro she was throughout the day. Layla, you made everything so easy for us. We didn’t have to think about a thing, and you ensured the day flowed perfectly; thank you so much!
It’s difficult to sum up what makes Launcells so very special in words, but if you ever get the opportunity to go there, you’ll just know.
