The couple fell for this Oxfordshire gem from the moment they stepped inside, drawn to its mix of warmth, romance, and country-chic charm, and their day delivered on all three – a candlelit ceremony beneath the thatched rafters, a floral arch in caramels and creams, Francesca in a dreamy fairytale gown, and Chris in forest-green. Add in an Aperol Spritz wall, the famous wisteria walkway in bloom, and a sparkler exit under the fading summer sky, and you’ve got a day that feels like peak English summer from start to finish.

The Venue

Francesca and Chris knew from the moment they stepped into Tythe Barn that it was the one. They wanted a barn wedding with a warm, romantic, country-chic vibe, and the venue delivered everything they had imagined. “Emma was amazing and so thorough,” they say. “We loved every detail and everything the barn had to offer!”

The Styling

The Cake

The wedding cake was a showstopper, created by The Pretty Cake Company. Samantha designed a three-tiered buttercream cake decorated with delicate flowers that mirrored the wedding florals. Flavours included chocolate with chocolate buttercream, carrot cake, and classic Victoria sponge – as delicious as it was beautiful.

The Photographer

Igor Demba, the couple’s photographer, captured every special moment. Guests loved how he blended into the day, snapping both natural, candid shots and those the couple specifically requested. Francesca and Chris say, “Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!”

Best Part of the Day
