Audrey & Oscar’s Coastal Wedding in Cornwall

Audrey and Oscar brought their two worlds together for a quintessential English country wedding, as their American and English families met for the first time for this multi-day celebration in the Cornish countryside.

Treseren offered the relaxed yet refined venue they wanted for their ceremony and reception last summer. Their pretty colour palette of fresh white and shades of soft greens and pinks perfectly complemented the natural surroundings, and they even managed to hotfoot it to the beach for some gorgeous portraits.

Although Oscar and I had met one another’s families, they had never met. I had been telling my Mom and sisters all about them for so long, but our worlds never collided like that. The Friday night meal at Treseren was a beautiful evening for Oscar and me. Watching our families hit it off and enjoy time together really put me at ease before the wedding. Sitting around the table with all of our loved ones was everything we had wished for. The table was set beautifully, the food was delicious, and our families were all so happy and smiling, celebrating our love. The entire atmosphere was so warm and beautiful. I remember thinking on Friday night that there was no way Saturday could top it because of how perfect it was – but of course, it did!

Words cannot express our immense gratitude to the staff at Treseren. They truly made our wedding weekend the best of our lives. Bringing our families together from two different countries and watching them bond was so special for us. Not only was the venue beautiful, but we felt so relaxed and at ease and helped every step of the way. Every single supplier recommended by Treseren was phenomenal. True professionalism. We are so, so happy we chose Treseren as our venue. I would not change a single thing!!

I chose my dress from a bridal shop in Kansas City, Missouri. My Mom and two sisters went with me, and I chose a satin dress to wear to the beach. It was perfect for the day.

Visiting the beach was eventful! It was pouring rain and very windy. Our amazing photographer took us into the local pub, where we took a tequila shot before taking on the weather. Sofie somehow managed to get beautiful photos despite the weather, and those photos and the laughter from the crazy weather were such a special part of our day.

My other favourite part was walking down the aisle with my Mom and seeing Oscar at the end of it. All our loved ones were there, and it felt so intimate and special.
