Alice & Steph: A Destination Wedding at Le Grand Banc

It was an instant connection. We visited so many beautiful venues across the South of France, but when we arrived at Le Grand Banc, it just felt right. The secluded location, the unique and stylish décor, the incredible attention to detail, and the lush green surroundings—it all came together with such warmth and charm. It truly felt like a slice of magic tucked away in the hills, and we knew it was the one.

I wore the Jacquetta dress by Savannah Miller, a design that perfectly balanced elegance and practicality. The detachable sleeves were a dream—it felt like I had two dresses in one, which added a playful twist for an effortless transition from day to night. My husband wore a tailored suit from Eredi Chiarini, a little boutique he discovered on a father-son trip to Florence. Both choices felt so personal and special, like they carried a little extra meaning for our day.

We wanted our décor to feel simple yet elegant—nothing too overdone, but still unforgettable. Josh Tully, our amazing planner, was such a guiding light here. He just knew what would work at Le Grand Banc and helped us weave together all the little details into something that felt so “us.” His expertise and creativity made everything come alive.

Our florist was L’Atelier de Matisse, and she came highly recommended by friends who got married in the same region. From the first conversation, we felt like we were in great hands. Her work is so thoughtful and artistic—she brought such life to our day. My bridal bouquet was especially stunning, with soft whites accented by pops of vibrant yellow. It was like carrying a little piece of sunshine down the aisle.

Finding the right caterer was probably our toughest decision because we love food and wanted something truly special. We dreamed of family-style dining that was local, laid-back, yet elegant. When our first choice, Citron Pavot, wasn’t available, we discovered Maison Nans—and wow, they were great. The live cooking stations during cocktails, like the Tomatoes & Mozzarella bar, were such a hit. Dinner was unforgettable too, with minute-grilled côtes de bœuf and a show-stopping giant pavlova for dessert. The team was so attentive and kind—it was everything we hoped for and more.

Warren Lecart was an absolute joy to work with. He has such a calm, reassuring presence and an incredible eye for capturing emotions. Looking through our photos now feels like reliving the day all over again—he truly caught the spirit of every moment. We’re so grateful for his talent and can’t recommend him enough.

Oh, where to begin? The whole day was filled with so much love and magic, but if we had to choose, the ceremony was the most unforgettable. Standing there surrounded by all the people we love, with the wind weaving through the trees, was such a powerful and emotional moment. It felt like time slowed down just for us. But honestly, every moment, from the laughter at dinner to dancing under the stars, was pure joy.

Let go of perfection and trust that the day will be everything it’s meant to be. Little things might not go as planned, but in the grand scheme, they don’t matter. Be as present as possible and soak in every moment—it flies by so quickly. And if we could give one big piece of advice, it’s this: invest in an incredible wedding planner. Josh Tully was an absolute lifesaver. He handled every detail, kept everything running smoothly, and ensured we could just focus on enjoying the day. We couldn’t have done it without him.
