A Vintage Autumnal Inspired Wedding at Manor House Lindley

Manor House Lindley provides the perfect setting for an autumnal vintage wedding…”

Alice and Gareth chose a warm colour palette which complemented The Coach House interior décor, and what a statement it made!

We love it when couples are inspired by the venue they choose, and Alice’s main inspiration for their wedding came from the intricate Chinoiserie wallpaper in The Coach House, hand painted by Diane Hill. The wallpaper itself was inspired by stunning Chinese export wallpapers of the 18th Century, the wallpaper is distressed in style to give the feeling of an aged antique wallpaper, so it became the perfect vintage inspiration for this stylish celebration.

Notes from the Bride

Alice says….

Our wedding was a rustic, autumnal celebration and when I saw the birds on the wallpaper in Manor House I knew I wanted to incorporate this into the decorations! I wanted birdcages on the tables surrounded by autumnal wreaths and a lot of candles to make it magical.

Manor House Lindley provides the perfect setting for an autumnal vintage wedding, I spoke to Fleur & Grey (our wedding stylist/florist) about her homemade wreaths and showed her my vision. She tied the flowers back to my bouquet which was vintage earthy colours! All dried flowers in the wreaths were foraged from local woods in Huddersfield too, which was the perfect local touch.

The beauty of Manor House Lindley, Coach House really is that all themes, styles, and inspirations work with the current décor of the room. The key colour palette for the wedding was a mixture of blush pinks and burgundies which complemented the rooms and season perfectly.

I wore a beautiful dress designed by e&w Couture which was supplied by Along Came Eve. It was the perfect vintage glam gown! Gareth was styled in a suit from Moss Bros.

The whole wedding theme was apparent throughout, from flowers, and cake down to the final touches of stationery on the tables. The autumnal theme for the Manor House is the perfect look as it allows you to tie in so many colours which are already in keeping with the venue itself.
