In response to Covid-19, the Hostology team have pulled together a helpful webinar series talking to various industry experts covering topics from insurance to financial support, legal issues to communicating with couples.
Jade from Hostology is joining us today to tell us all about the platform and their webinar series, and we’ve also included a few key webinar re-plays for you to dip in to below, although you can find the full series here – you will need to sign up/in to view.
I’ve personally watched or joined the live webinars each week and it’s been super valuable for me to understand the issues venues are facing around the legalities of postponements and cancellations, as well as preparing for a time when weddings can be hosted again. Whilst I have my own thoughts about socially distanced weddings (and you might too), I think the webinars have provided important discussions for us all.
Notes from Hostology
What is Hostology?
The Hostology Platform – www.hostology.co.uk – is a new venue-centric event management platform, designed and built by a group of experienced event hosts to equip the industry to keep pace with the sophisticated needs of today’s clients.
Hostology will simplify your workflows and communications, delivering improved customer service and a more organised event run-up. Our tools and services are designed to free up your venue team, giving them the time to deepen their client relationships and to transform the often-arduous planning process into an enjoyable and integral part of any celebration. Hostology has been conceived, designed and road-tested by a group of five UK-wide venues Dewsall Court, Iscoyd Park, Elmore Court, Wasing Park and Pennard House – each experienced independent event hosts, and collectively responsible for over 500 successful events a year.
What is the Webinar Series?
Hostology was born from our shared experience, the Hostology webinar series aims to extend this experience to our users, and any venues that are seeking constructive, positive solutions to help to navigate this difficult time.
Each week we are joined by an experienced expert to discuss the most relevant and important topics facing venues today.
Through our webinar sessions, and The Collective (Hostology’s community forum) we are connecting venues with each other in imaginative ways that encourage each to thrive.
