Dewsall Court is set in 15 acres of beautiful grounds with far reaching views to the Black Mountains and surrounded by 1000 acres of Duchy of Cornwall land which has open bridleways throughout, so you can walk for many hours, straight from the front door!
At Dewsall they will always work closely with you to ensure your event is tailor made and unique. Dewsall is perfect for weddings from 20 – 220 guests! With its ancient church just a short walk through the gardens where blessings and marriages can take place, and various spaces for indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies, it really is your own private wedding hideaway.
It is important to the team not to be ‘just another wedding venue’ and your dedicated wedding planner will work closely with you, to create your unique, Dewsall wedding. Dewsall is a grade 2 listed property and a much loved family home, which has been refurbished into a luxurious and stylish 10 bedroom house all with their own en-suite bathrooms.
A key feature of these stunning grounds is the effective combination of formal gardens and wild meadows. There are also various barns on the property, which remain traditional outhouses – perfect for a rustic shindig. The Wain House is a beautiful stone and wooden pillared barn with a large wood burning stove and medieval candle chandeliers. When using the Wainhouse for an event the price includes use of the space for either your reception and/or the service for up to 140 guests, more should you choose to extend it, including bar, catering facilities and the beautiful antique china and cutlery for the reception dinner.
Yurts can be added to the barn which make great dance floors and chill out areas, this will please the boho Bride… To have more guests Dewsall can arrange for a wonderful tent to be erected in a various places – from the lakeside to the formal gardens, and these tents can come in various shapes and sizes: a 60ft yurt, a raj pavilion, a traditional style canvas marquee or a top of the range modern marquee.
