The Setting
Iscoyd Park is a romantic and beautiful Georgian country house. It stands in private 18th Century Parkland and stunning gardens overlooking the borders of North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire.
The Vibe
Though Iscoyd is large enough to hold over 160 people for a wedding and has recently been restored and redesigned to award winning acclaim, it still retains the character, history and welcoming warmth of the family home that it is.
This warmth is what is so important, Iscoyd has a magical way of making everyone feel at ease and at home. It is a place in which many contrasting qualities marry to make a particularly unique and special atmosphere. The traditional, classical and historical are carefully mixed with the contemporary and the innovative, taking the best of the past and combining it with the thrill of the present!
At Iscoyd you can choose whether to have the house for one, two or three days, or even longer by arrangement. Iscoyd do not do packages as every event and wedding they do is entirely bespoke and built around the couple.
They have 14 really beautiful bedrooms on site and another cottage on the edge of the estate that sleeps a further 8 people in 4 double bedrooms. The venue hire also includes the Iscoyd Cottage, which is located on the edge of the park, created especially for the bridal party to stay the night before.
Iscoyd Park has three licensed rooms for civil ceremonies and there is a beautiful church on the edge of the estate, 5 minutes drive from the house for those that would like to marry in church.
There are many options for your ceremony and wedding breakfast within the house. The Garden Room is awash with natural light and has stunning views out onto the garden beyond giving an atmosphere of perfect calm and serenity. Attached to the Garden Room is a beautiful marquee extending the house, perfect for a seated wedding breakfast for 160.
For smaller ceremonies and wedding breakfasts there is the Drawing Room with beautiful wooden floors and decorated with 18th and 19th century paintings and family portraits. In winter the fires and candles are lit and the room becomes warm and very cosy. The Coach House with its exposed beams and white washed brick created the perfect relaxed setting for ceremonies of up to 150 and wedding breakfasts of up to 60.
The Bridal Suite at Iscoyd Park makes my heart flutter… Think large windows overlooking glorious parkland, sumptuous fabrics and a stunning four-poster bed. Skip through to the gallery for some delightful images of this rather special venue.
