Absolutely we do, all we ask is that you use at least biodegradable confetti to create your magical shots. Where possible, we do prefer real or dried flowers to be used.
We have created a list that includes some of the best in the industry. They come recommended by us and we trust their excellent work. You can book your own suppliers although it is not recommended or encouraged, with the exception of fireworks. Any third party supplier must provide a copy of their public liability insurance, any who do not supply the correct insurance information will not be allowed to operate.
Amongst our suppliers list are some amazing event planners and wedding stylists who create and dress the spaces making your dreams come to life. For the finer details like place cards and favours we want you to sit back, relax, and enjoy getting ready in the morning so whilst we are happy for your assistance, your wedding specialist and team will make sure everything is where it should be.
If you opt to not have a planner or wedding stylist this would then be your responsibility to place the décor out.
Yes we do, corkage is priced at £20 per bottle of still wine, £30 per bottle of prosecco and £35 per bottle of Champagne and £100 per bottle of spirits.
We encourage all of our couples to explore the grounds and the estate to find the best spots for them! The Irish Yew trees are perhaps the most iconic image of a wedding at The Elvetham, but we find it impossible to chose just one, when we asked the team they all had different spots:
The Orchard - a recent edition
Stairwell - the stained-glass is magical
The bridge - spectacular at golden hour
With our long history we have had a fair few notable visitors, the list includes royalty like King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I and some more modern editions being Ruth and Eamonn Holmes getting married with us in 2010. We are also a popular filming location for various films and tv shows, perhaps you can spot us in some of your favourite shows this year.
The Elvetham is typically hired on a non-exclusive basis, however if exclusivity is important to you, we offer a select amount of dates each year, where guests can make our venue their own for the weekend.
Additional charges would apply, typically starting from £15,000 venue hire with additional charges to cover bedroom costs.
Yes, we do!
The pricing for dry hire is available directly from The Elvetham.
