Lainston House

The day was simply perfect! You probably guessed beforehand that I like to know whats going on and be in control and to have that handled so well on the day and in the build up was fantastic.

Louis!! Where do we start. What a star! I have spent 25 years in hospitality and can count on one hand the number of people who had such a positive impact as Louis did on our day. Lizzie told me after it was only his second week? Amazing!

The barn looked stunning!! Fairy lights and candles and the main lights turned down it was beautiful. Plus the Registrar moved her table from the middle to behind the corner to hopefully create a lovely picture.

Everyone who came said how amazing Lainston House was as both a venue and a hotel.

We had the most incredible day, and I can’t thank you enough for all your help and support. From the first time we met with you we were so confident in our choice of venue. No query or issue was too much trouble for you to help us with and it was truly our dream wedding. The entire weekend was so perfect. Ben and his team were exemplary on the day, the service was fantastic. Please pass on our thank yous to them all. In particular Ben attended to our every need on the day and kept everything flowing. All our guests were blown away by Lainston House and they all had a wonderful experience. I’m sure many of them will come back. And it goes without saying Niranjan and I will definitely be regular visitors!! Lainston has such a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to visit again.

When we started looking at wedding venues we were looking for a barn style venue where we could have everything in one place, ceremony, reception and where our guests could stay. Lainston had everything we could have asked for and more!

Not only is it a beautiful venue, the service from all the staff was outstanding! I honestly could be here all day writing about how brilliant our day was, it was our 4th wedding date in the end due to Covid but all the way through the process Lainston was so accommodating. We honestly couldn’t of asked for a better day.

Our guests commented on how excellent the staff at Lainston were and loved the rooms especially the really comfy pillows! Food was excellent and we couldn’t of wished for a better day.

Thank you! Can’t wait to return for our 1st wedding anniversary!

We are honestly so so happy with how the day went, it was simply perfect and far better than we could have ever imagined.

Please can you pass our sincere thanks on to all of the staff who were simply amazing on the day and could not do enough for our guests and us. Chloe, Ben, Charis, Emily – there are simply to many of the staff to mention but a special note should be said to Ben who went above and beyond – at one stage he even helped getting Megan’s shoes back on!

We would also like to say a massive thank you to you (Sophie). You’ve been so helpful throughout the entire process keeping us on track and organised. Sorry for not always being the quickest to respond but thank you for your continued understanding.

Lainston House will always be a special place for us and I can assure you, we will be back very soon!

I know Ruth has already thanked you but I just wanted to echo her sentiments. Thank you so much for your efforts and the efforts of everyone at Lainston House (especially James) in making our day so special and run so smoothly.

The barn looked absolutely beautiful, and we were so pleased with how all the tables had been finished. Chris, Alex, Nicky and the rest of the team were wonderful on the night, so professional and helpful. We had lots of feedback from family and friends who were so impressed with the service, and we all just had the best time!

There are no words enough in the English language that we could use to explain how grateful we are for how special you and your team made our day. We honestly had the most perfect day (despite how fast it went)! It was everything we could have wished for and more. The whole day ran so smoothly, and we have Ben to thank for this – he was so highly spoken about after our wedding. He was honestly incredible. We are incredibly lucky to have had you on our journey with us to help plan our special day. From the moment we arrived on the Wednesday, we were so well looked after and made to feel so relaxed too. We had a lovely meal with our close friends and family on the Wednesday night which we were lucky enough to have our own dining room. The whole day was perfect and ran smoothly (despite me being late, but we can’t control that, ha!). Our breakfast with the wedding party on the Friday was the perfect way to sit and reminisce, too, whilst eating the most incredible food.

Thank you so so much again, you, Ben and all the team at Lainston were honestly incredible and completely faultless.

Jon and I had the best day on Sunday, we loved every minute of it! (despite the rain in the morning!) – the venue and food were amazing, all the staff on the day were so friendly, professional and helpful which really added to the day – please extend our gratitude to them all.

We had the best day! The whole day was amazing. All the staff at Lainston were amazing! We honestly couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you so so much to all of you for making our day so perfect!

I’m not sure where to start with our thank you – from our very first call all the way to saying goodbye the morning after our wedding, we were treated so well in both a professional and personal manner!

To help me to put together such a stunning wedding in four days is no small thing! You helped me think of everything and nothing was too much trouble (including our extensive menu!). You thinking of putting me in a wonderful room with a stunning bath to help me relax before our big day was beyond the call of duty! The barn was lovely and being able to give us access early was so valuable to allow us to set up in a calm manner.

The events staff, serving staff and house keeping were all so friendly and professional. The food was stunning and some guests even said it was the best food they had ever had! As someone who has worked in the event catering world myself, I couldn’t fault the food or service.

Thank you so so much. Honestly, I am very grateful for your help and think we are so incredibly lucky to have held our wedding at Lainston. Without a doubt we will be back for our anniversary.

We would like to thank you and all your staff for such an incredible day. From start to finish everything ran perfectly, we had so many compliments from guests about the venue, the food and staff.

We had the BEST day! We are so grateful to you, James, Mark and the entire team for making the day go so streamlined and without any hiccups – and if there were any, you hid them very well from us!
