Should Government Covid Guidelines change to the extent that your event cannot take place, we will offer you a full refund. If someone in your party is affected, or your event is affected by personal circumstances, we will offer to re-schedule your event as soon as we can. No refund will be offered. We highly recommend taking out your own insurance to cover such eventualities.
The Setting
Remenham Court sits above the Berkshire bank of the River Thames, on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Henley on Thames, site of the world famous Henley Royal Regatta.
The property is unique; a privately owned Grade II house, with landscaped gardens overlooking the river and the Chiltern landscape beyond. The classic interior has been fully refurbished for 2022. With an exclusive, gated entrance, Remenham Court is both a sophisticated and elegant venue, and a warm and welcoming residence, with plenty of party space, and beautiful bedroom suites. The gardens include a tennis court, a spacious Orangery with a lovely colonnade, and a large sunken walled garden, with fountain, which is the perfect position for an outside party with a marquee or cover.
Nearby are Remenham Church (overlooking Temple Island) and the famous Leander Club. Also two great pubs available to hire. Remenham Court is 10 minutes walk along the towpath from Henley town centre, easily accessible via M4 and M40, and by mainline trains from London, only 40 minutes away. It offers ample parking and also has a private jetty (no mooring) for guests arriving by boat or water taxi.
The Vibe
Whatever your event; a private dinner for 30, a reception with standing buffet for 80, or a seated dinner for 100, with a band and dancing afterwards, Remenham Court is exclusively yours.
Remenham is a privately owned property with only one booking per weekend, therefore greater flexibility is possible around events which can be tailored to suit each client and provide a truly memorable experience – something you thought you could only dream of.
Guests can settle into beautifully appointed bedrooms, or gravitate to either the cosy kitchen, or elegant Drawing room and Orangery beyond. Maybe later, meet up in the Party Room for drinks… The Master Suite is perfect for pre-wedding preparation, while the Gatehouse is ideal for the second wedding party to be on site – but out of sight if you’re a traditionalist!
The number of guests and nature of reception will determine whether an outside structure is required and how many days setting up will be necessary.
There is no in-house catering, but overnight accommodation includes a continental breakfast.
Although Remenham Court is partnered with Naive Productions, an event planning company based in Henley and London, you are not obliged to use their services and can make your own arrangements and manage your event yourself.
Remenham Court is available all year round.
