The House, with its Victorian Orangery, is situated on a high shelf of the South Downs in the beautiful village of Slindon. It has fine views over parkland to the south, where the ground drops steadily to the coast. With uninterrupted views to the sea, the 18-acre setting provides the perfect atmosphere for weddings.
The grounds are extensive, with an ornamental garden featuring an arbor, secret paths meandering through woodland, and a perfectly manicured sunken lawn. There’s also a walled garden! The grounds offer a great choice of beautiful spots to place a luxury marquee, ideal for large parties.
Slindon House boasts an impressive Entrance Hall with its winding oak staircase, leading to a fabulous double-height Grand Hall with the adjoining spacious Blue and Green Rooms, all with characterful fireplaces. There is also a stunning Victorian Orangery adjacent to the main entrance.
Slindon House offers the Great Hall for larger ceremonies of up to 120 guests or the Blue Room for ceremonies of up to 60. Outside ceremonies can be catered for in the Lower Garden.
Couples can choose to host their reception within the rooms of the House or perhaps set up a marquee within the grounds. The beautiful Victorian Orangery is perfect for arrival drinks and canapés. Slindon House will be exclusively yours for the day and you will have plenty of time the day before to dress the venue to your taste, subject to availability.
The Great Hall can accommodate 120 seated guests with the Blue Room and Green Room also used for canapé receptions.
The in-house catering team, Quinn Events, will be there to help you every step of the way to plan and cater for your dream wedding.
The venue is situated in the charming village of Slindon, surrounded by lovely Downland countryside.

Susan provided us with warm, knowledgeable and professional service from the outset. Her passion for providing beautiful food that is locally sourced and presented perfectly shone through our early communication with her, and she was reassuring throughout the build-up to our wedding day, also liaising with companies we hired linen, crockery and glassware from. On the day, the service of canapés, the wedding breakfast and evening food ran so smoothly and so many guests commented on the delicious food they were served. A lovely touch is that Susan made the evening cheese board into a tiered cake! We would recommend Quinn’s without hesitation. We wish we could eat the wedding meal again!

Susan helped show us around two venues that she caters weddings for, and from the beginning it was an easy process! There were different menu offers to cater for different budgets, and all the food on the day was really tasty. We opted for the BBQ menu but asked for it to be served at the table. It was delicious, and there was plenty of food to go around! The day ran so smoothly thanks to Susan and her staff, and she was on hand from the moment we viewed the venue right up to the big day. No question was too small. She was always happy to help!

Slindon House can accommodate 120 for the wedding ceremony within the Great Hall. For larger ceremonies, the venue can accommodate up to 200 guests within the lower garden or for more intimate ceremonies, 60 guests can be accommodated in the Blue Room.
