Our wedding day at Saltmarshe hall was the best day of our lives. The venue was truly breath-taking in the spring sunshine and we took full advantage of all this stunning venue had to offer. It was certainly worth the wait and our friends and family talk so fondly of it. The staff at Saltmarshe went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothy and ensured our day was everything we dreamed of and more.

Hidden gem – Saltmarshe does not disappoint on any aspect. What a fabulous find! My husband and I stayed here as part of a treat to celebrate our wedding anniversary and wow! It is not just the beautifully appointed rooms or the fabulous grounds and setting or the deliciously yummy food that made it a perfect stay, but the people that worked there made it a second to none experience. Everyone that we came into contact with was so friendly, professional and just naturally showed so much enthusiasm about Saltmarshe Hall and they really wanted to ensure we had a great stay. We even got a tour around from Chris whose enthusiasm for the place rubs off. The atmosphere the team create is what makes this place so different – you are in the most beautiful of surroundings – and clearly a lot of money, energy and thought has gone into this place – but it doesn’t feel formal or stuffy and you can really relax here. The attention we received from the whole team was excellent. Saltmarshe does not disappoint.

Our day was perfect in so many ways! You all managed the adjustment of moving parts of the wedding inside so smoothly, and to be honest, we would not have had it any other way.
The morning room looked incredible for our ceremony. The food and service were impeccable, and this was echoed by all of our family and friends. The staff were attentive and accommodated all of our needs. They liaised with our suppliers, including our photographer and musicians and lifted even more weight off our shoulders on the day. Our evening celebrations were well coordinated, and finished the day off with a bang!

It gave me lots of reassurance on the morning of the wedding to know that everything was just taken care of. A little message to say a huge and loving thank you for your support and advice leading up to the wedding and the hard work and dedication on our special day.

You’ve looked after us every step of the way from the first time we set foot through the door Jan’22 (how is it so long ago?). And on the rare occasion, you weren’t available, any other member of staff were so extremely helpful.

During meetings to plan our day, you already had the answers to the questions we’d jotted down before we even had a chance to ask them – it’s at this point not only did we know that the venue, with its amazing rooms, grounds and changes that we’re coming such as the gorgeous new bar was exactly where we wanted our special day to be, but that we also had that special person to help look after our day and the confidence of knowing we wouldn’t have anything to worry about.

The special day arrives, and you are on it with calmness personified. The day was smooth and seamless, thanks to you and your team.

We (and our guests who also commented on this with the same words) will never forget that 15 minutes of madness during speeches when the heavens opened, and you shifted into 5th gear to ensure 85 people were kept dry, and you got absolutely drenched and kept everything on track.

But the biggest compliment I think we can give you is that you made us feel like the first and last wedding you’d have. Like we were all that mattered even though you probably have 2 or 3 + per week.

Thank you for making our special day your special day. (Thank you also to your staff). It was the most amazing 36 hours of our lives, and we just want to do it all over again. It feels surreal to know we won’t be chatting to plan our big day with you any longer, but anyone else is lucky to be in that position, knowing they have you to look after them, and hopefully, we can pop by in the near future to see you and say hello.

Absolutely magical! My wedding day at Saltmarshe Hall was everything I had dreamed of and more. The venue was stunning, providing the perfect scene for our outdoor ceremony. From start to finish, the day was flawless.

We were serenaded by a beautiful string quartet for the ceremony and a harpist during the wedding breakfast. Later in the evening, the DJ kept everyone on their feet, ensuring the dance floor was always full. The attention to detail at Saltmarshe was unmatched. A special highlight was the gentleman who continuously sprayed me with my wedding scent throughout the day!

The staff at Saltmarshe Hall were incredible, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much to ask, and no request was too silly! They anticipated our needs and catered to everything. Saltmarshe Hall made our day truly unforgettable, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, amazing service, and a touch of magic, this is the place.

We could not have wished for a better venue for our wedding in October. The moment we viewed Saltmarshe Hall, we fell in love! The hall itself and the grounds are stunning and with so many options available for the ceremony, it was the easiest decision for us to book it for our big day! We had the most perfect wedding day at Saltmarshe and will cherish those memories forever! The food was amazing, the staff were so lovely and everything ran without a hitch! Ashleigh and the team are absolutely amazing and they made our dream wedding day come true! Nothing was too much trouble and we will be forever grateful for all their hard work!

The most incredible day at the beautiful Saltmarshe Hall. We knew Saltmarshe was going to be the venue for our special day when we were driving up to it, through the most stunning grounds which instantly made us feel overwhelmed with emotion. We stepped inside & the place instantly felt like it was made for us! From that moment & all the way through planning, to on our day & beyond, the staff at Saltmarshe Hall were fantastic! A special mention to Ashleigh, who from our first meeting with her, made us feel completely at ease & with her meticulous organisation, we knew we were in good hands! Saltmarshe Hall is absolutely beautiful inside & out! The hall is everything you could wish for on your wedding day & the gardens/grounds are simply stunning! The staff are so lovely & friendly, extremely professional & made our day so special for us & our family & friends. We can’t thank you guys enough for all you did on our wedding weekend. Ashleigh and the team were beyond incredible! The day ran so seamlessly! We had so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the venue was and how well organised the Saltmarshe team were.

We managed to hire saltmarshe hall for the whole weekend, which was incredibly convenient with all the rooms available for our family and friends to make the most of what was incredible place to have not only a wedding but a family reunion. The venue and gardens are beautiful and we loved being able to host a pool party the following day where we could all relax.

With planning this from Australia, the team were so helpful with recommendations for top tier local vendors and suppliers that in turn were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

The food was delicious and they are so well organised when it comes to dietary requirements and allergies.

We honestly had the most spectacular day. Our only regret is that we can’t do it all over again!

My new husband and I got married at Saltmarshe Hall on Saturday and cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day so special. The venue speaks for itself with its beautiful rooms, the perfect combination of old and new, and its idyllic location, it really is picture perfect however, it’s the staff at Saltmarshe that really bring it to life. I cannot tell you how many of our guests commented on the standard of service they received, the whole team are so relaxed and friendly that it enabled everyone to really enjoy themselves. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food from the canapés to the Hot Dog sausages, we had a few dietary requirements which were taken in to full consideration and I know this isn’t easy when catering for so many people, all the food was a resounding success with our guests so please thank your chef and catering team for doing such an excellent job. Our wedding co-ordinator Hannah has been fantastic, nothing has been too much trouble, she was there to help guide us through our wedding plans, and supported us every step of the way on our special day. From seeing everything written out on paper, the team at Saltmarshe made it all a reality so its thanks to them that we got the day we’d always dreamed of. Ryan and I along with all our guests have been overwhelmed by the service and think you should be proud of standards you’ve achieved.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Saltmarshe Hall in March this year, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From start to finish, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional, making the entire experience unforgettable. A special thank you to Ashleigh, whose attention to detail and impeccable organisation sold us on the venue from the very beginning. Her dedication ensured everything ran smoothly, and we felt completely taken care of.
We hosted 96 guests across both Friday and Saturday with exclusivity, and the entire weekend was a dream. The Hall itself is stunning, with its amazing bones and features that have been sympathetically decorated to enhance the elegance of the space. The neutral backdrop allows you to create any atmosphere or colour theme you desire, making it versatile for any vision you have in mind. Which made it a perfect choice for me.

I highly recommend Saltmarshe Hall to anyone planning a special event. We can’t wait to return for a weekend stay! A massive thank you to Ashleigh and the entire team for making our day so magical.

We cannot thank you enough for providing us with the flawless, perfect fairy tale we dreamed of. Saltmarshe Has become such a special place to us. Amy, we love you! We cannot thank you for all your help on the run-up to the day and the day itself. Amy, you and Ash are absolute queens and are incredible at what you do. From babysitting our little boy to organising the groomsmen, Mc’ing, helping Jess get dressed and all the behind-the-scenes things you do, nothing was too much trouble.
All the staff felt like guests (in the fact of how welcoming and lovely they were). We particularly appreciate the clean-up crew on the dance floor! We love that you have all become friends with us and not just a supplier. Expect us to be visiting very soon!

Where do we start… Our wedding at Saltmarshe Hall was just perfect. From start to finish it was magical. We can’t thank Ashleigh and the team at Saltmarshe enough for helping us have the best day ever. Saltmarshe Hall is the most beautiful and most amazing wedding venue for any wedding. Simply the best day! Saltmarshe speaks for itself! It blew me away when we first went to see it in 2018 – a moment I’ll never forget – Rob said he saw my face and knew that was it, this was the venue! It took us until September 21 to get married with 4 rearrangements but I could burst with happiness from that day! It was actually beyond my wildest dreams, from it actually eventually happening and everyone being there, to the beauty of the venue itself, and what stunning creations the suppliers created there. Kate and the staff were just amazing, we’ve had so many people compliment you all. And the food – I took 3 pictures all day…and one of those was that pudding – chef wow! Saltmarshe is firmly in our hearts forever, even if the groom was put to bed at 11!

We had such an amazing day at Saltmarshe Hall! When we first found Saltmarshe we were so taken by its beauty, we ended up booking it unseen during covid, and we are so glad we did! Ashleigh was amazing during the whole process leading up to the big day, making sure we were on track and prepared. Nothing was too much to ask, even when we kept changing our minds! On the day everything ran so smoothly, our vision was brought to life exactly how we imagined it by Saltmarshe, we didn’t have to worry about anything. All the staff members were friendly, attentive and polite, they all genuinely looked to be enjoying their day which just added to the overall mood. The food was delicious with lots of empty plates. Saltmarshe itself is stunning and the grounds looked spectacular in the autumn colours, with so many photo opportunities. Every single one of our guests agreed, it really was the perfect day!

We will definitely be back in the future! Saltmarshe will always be a special place for us to come and visit!

From the first moment we walked into Saltmarshe Hall, we knew it was our venue. Even with the Morning room having improvements and a change of bar, we knew it was going to look amazing. The venue has such an amazing atmosphere. The whole team made us feel super special from the very first moment we stepped inside to the moment we left as husband and wife.
Our original meetings were with Ashleigh, who had so much enthusiasm and ideas for our day, which helped the day go perfectly. We loved going over to the venue for meetings and to see how the building improvements were getting on. It wasn’t until our final meeting that we met Amy, who was amazing. She felt like a friend we had known for ages, adding suggestions to improve our day. No ask was too big or too small. We knew we were in good hands, and the stress was completely taken away.
Ashleigh, Amy and the team made our day so special. We cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. The whole day was perfect from start to finish. We don’t think anything we could write down in words could do this place and the staff the justice they deserve.
The food was amazing, and our guests made so many compliments. The running of the day was like clockwork. Everything was perfect. If it wasn’t, I didn’t see it anyway! We were so lucky with the sun, and having our drinks reception in the beautiful grounds was amazing.
We feel so lucky to have found this place and the team who will hold a special place in our hearts forever. No amount of thank you’s could ever be enough. Don’t stop what you are doing!

Saltmarshe Hall is the most incredible venue located in the most tranquil and beautiful setting. It was the best day of our lives and Ashleigh was absolutely outstanding on the day from a broken dress to a wasp sting and to making sure everything ran so smoothly on the day, nothing was ever any issue even on the run up to the day, she was always there to help and advice, Saltmarshe are so lucky to have her. All of the guests have complimented how amazing the food and service was and even commenting on how it was the best wedding they had ever been too which means the world to us as all we ever wanted was people to eat good food and have an amazing day to which Saltmarshe made happen.
