Pennyhill Park

The day was completely perfect. We are so sad it’s all over but so thankful we have all the little details to remember forever! and now looking forward to getting booked up for our 1 year anniversary.

Every detail was exactly what we had planned for the day and executed to perfection by you and the team. We have had an untold amount of comments from all our guests on how friendly, professional and attentive the team were, so please pass on our thanks!

Please extend a special thank you to Kapil, who was fantastic, too. Considering he and I only had a short amount of time together, he ran the day amazingly and exactly as we had hoped.

The Terrace wing was truly amazing and really was the final perfect detail. So, thank you again for making the move possible.

Your help during the morning was amazing, too. You gave me a sense of calm every time you came into the room to see how everything was. I knew everything was in safe hands with you.

I really cannot thank you enough for taking on board all my 100s of emails, phone calls, spreadsheets, everything. You really took every comment and made everything perfect.

We really did have the most amazing day, and we will be forever grateful for you making that possible, so thank you, Maddy.

There are so many thank yous starting with you, Maddy. Your meticulous attention to detail and willingness to work with us as plans changed really ensured everything ran without a hitch. You even arranged the weather. Thank you, too, for the gift of a print and key rings. We will hang the print proudly in our home. It was a lovely thought and very generous. Thanks again.

Thanks to Dorota for looking after us on the day. We felt very secure in her capable hands, and she had such a lovely way about her, checking in regularly that everything was going ok.

Michael was an absolute gem. Please pass on our thanks to him. He made sure everything ran like clockwork and was so approachable that we felt nothing was too much trouble. We now can’t imagine running our big day without him!

Thanks to the chef and kitchen staff. The food was outstanding, and we received many lovely comments during the day and afterwards. The lamb and, chocolate and coffee dessert were phenomenal.

Thanks to the waiting staff who served us all so efficiently. Everything was very well-paced, with lots of time to chat between courses. And the ladies that served us breakfast yesterday were so friendly and attentive. Please pass on our thanks to them, too.

And finally, thank you to all the staff at the front desk who looked after us throughout our stay and always made us feel nothing was too much trouble.

I only wish we could do it all again!

The venue, rooms, facilities, food customer service and operations in the planning and on the day and over the whole weekend exceeded our every expectation. We feel so blessed to have been able to have our wedding at the beautiful Pennyhill Park. The compliments we have received have been endless. We are so grateful to your whole team for making our day so special.

Special mention to Maddy Ross. She is an absolute asset to your team. She went above and beyond to ensure our every request was catered for to make our day perfect for us. Maddy maintained regular contact with us in the months planning our wedding and on the day. She was reassuring and supportive and provided us with so much invaluable help, advice and guidance on top of what would be expected in her role. We will forever be grateful to Maddy and hold very fond thoughts of her. We are very aware that our day would not have been the day it was without her.

Special mention to Kapil and his Operations Team. Kapil introduced himself to us upon arrival at the hotel the day before our wedding. He provided us with a phone number immediately for us to contact him with any last-minute requests. Nothing seemed too much for Kapil to ensure our day would be perfect. On the day, Kapil provided us with his undivided attention whenever we needed him. The operations on the day were absolutely flawless despite the tricky schedule to accommodate dancing between courses with The Function Band. The food and service were faultless, and received so many compliments from our guests.

We were so pleased with the dedicated breakfast room the morning after our wedding. Staff had moved our welcome sign and laid out all our beautiful flowers on the tables for us. It really felt like a continuation of our wedding. Food was delicious and replenished when needed. Staff relentlessly cut up more and more wedding cake for our guests to take away. Nothing was too much trouble.

Everything about the whole weekend really exceeded our expectations. We cherish memories at Pennyhill Park deep in our hearts and are so very thankful to the whole team.

Luke and I are still on the most incredible high from Saturday. It went so perfectly and was just everything we dreamed of!
We have lost count of the number of guests who told us it was hands down the best wedding they’d ever been to!

The room looked incredible. I don’t know why I was worried about the decor. It just looked perfect! Thank you for all the help setting everything up.

Liam and I were extremely happy with every single staff member at Pennyhill! Everyone was so friendly, and it couldn’t have gone better.

We have decided that we will always celebrate our anniversary at Pennyhill because there is just no moment like our wedding, and we’re glad no other hotel tops it, so it’ll always be Pennyhill!
