We could not have been happier with our wedding at Farnham Castle. From the offset, the team were communicative and helpful, and six months before our wedding, we were assigned our wedding organiser, Gema, who was simply incredible! Gema was always available to answer our many questions whether about the larger or finer details, which made us feel surprisingly relaxed in the lead up to the wedding.

Having quite complex dietary requirements, I knew straight away when I saw the food options that we would be in safe hands. At both the complimentary food tasting event and afterwards, Chef Simon went through in great detail with us all our food choices and we were so happy with how delicious it all tasted on the day and the canapes in particular got demolished almost immediately! We also opted for their newer dessert bar option which was a super fun and relaxed way to finish the meal.

There is no doubt that Farnham Castle is a stunning venue, but what sets it apart from other places are the incredible staff and attention to detail that they put into every aspect of your day. We would highly recommend Farnham Castle and it truly was a fairytale wedding!

We cannot believe that the day has been and gone already! Although we recognise that it is a team effort, we did just want to say how amazing you have been throughout the whole process. We’re so glad that we were able to plan our wedding day alongside yourself. You made us feel relaxed, reassured and completely at ease that the day would run as smoothly as it did. I think there were points during the day where you spoke to guests and suppliers. The general consensus was ‘We love Julia!’.

From our first visit to Farnham we knew that this was the wedding venue for us. Gema, who showed us around, was amazing, informative, and so welcoming! We were then lucky enough to have Laura as our wedding coordinator who was just a dream! She was such a calming presence on the day and couldn’t do enough for us.
All of the staff were incredible and everything was completely perfect. All of our guests were stunned by the venue and highly praised the food.
We cannot recommend Farnham Castle enough, it was everything we wished for and more!

The staff at Farnham castle were highly professional and the build up to the day with the wedding planning team was efficient and stress-free. Our guests have not stopped talking about our wedding day. They loved the food, the service and the guests that stayed at the castle gave great feedback on their accommodation. The venue itself was even more magical on the day. The grounds looked beautiful which has given us amazing photographs. Our wedding day was as perfect as we could have hoped for and more.

What an incredible venue! We had the best time celebrating our special day here last month and loved all the little areas we were able to access for our guests, from the rose garden for the ceremony to the drinks reception on the lawn; we made full use of the space. As well, many of our guests took advantage of being able to stay on site for the night, and for our international and out-of-town guests, this was key. We were thus able to avoid late-night taxi costs and separate the ceremony location from the reception.

Another detail that was paramount to us was the reliability of the staff. Not only did several guests compliment the service they received, but they also commented on how friendly the staff were too. Special shout-out to Julia, our wedding specialist, who helped us put on our perfect day. From start to finish, she answered our every question and accommodated every request. We are more than grateful for all of her, our suppliers, and the castle team’s hard work. It felt like a dream, and even though it was an expensive one, we would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

The venue is absolutely stunning, with so many choices for ceremony locations and endless photo opportunities. Our guests all complimented the quality of the food and loved the espresso martinis we served after dinner.

We loved that so many of our family and friends could stay at the venue with us, and the breakfast the next morning was great. The getting-ready rooms for both the bride and groom were fantastic. Even with some light rain, the venue ensured we could have our wedding outside in the rose garden, which was picture-perfect, with the old keep in the background of our photos.

Our coordinator, Gema, was incredible at every step of the planning process and was calm, organised and professional on the day. We would definitely recommend Farnham Castle to other couples getting married in Surrey!

We got married at Farnham Castle on the 23rd December. We had visited the venue the year before, and it immediately captured our eye. It is beautiful both inside and outside. We were looking for a venue that fitted a winter wedding and this definitely ticked all the boxes!

Organising the wedding was made so simple with our wedding coordinators, which made the planning process enjoyable and relatively stress-free. They always responded quickly to emails or phone calls and were willing to discuss our requests for some other non-conventional things thrown into the day. It felt like the team were invested in making our day unique and special.
The day ran so smoothly and went better than I could ever have imagined. The castle looked stunning with Christmas trees and fairy lights throughout. Getting ready in the gatehouse was perfect for me and my bridesmaids, and we had plenty of space to spread out and get ready with breakfast, hot drinks and prosecco! We had about 100 guests, which was perfect for the space, and we had so many compliments from them all about the venue. The food was amazing and exactly how it was when we went for our private tasting (the creme brulee is the best!).

They are very responsive and flexible to all sorts of dietary requirements, which made it stress-free. There was plenty of overnight accommodation with a great breakfast included.
The highlights for us included the fairy lights and décor, the intimacy of the venue, the food, and the getting-ready space. Thank you to Farnham Castle for making our day so special. We would definitely recommend this venue!

Farnham Castle is a truly magical wedding venue, offering a stunning setting, elegant decor, and outstanding food. The castle’s historic charm provides a fairy-tale backdrop for the wedding day I’ve always dreamed of. The food and drink were exquisite, and the team went above and beyond to recreate a favourite dish of ours, which added a personal touch and received numerous compliments. The team’s hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable for us and our guests – with a highlight being a late-night pizza waiting for us in the honeymoon suite! Our coordinator, Gema, was fabulous and put us (and the Mother of the Bride) at ease on the lead-up! We are truly grateful for making our wedding day so special and could not recommend Farnham Castle more.

Where do I start? Our day was perfect in every way!

Firstly, the venue is out of this world, as soon as we pulled up on the open day, we knew the venue was for us. Who wouldn’t want to get married in a castle?

Francesca was the first member of staff we met and without doubt sold us the venue, from then on, I knew we needed her throughout our wedding journey. I had so many questions, and Francesca was there every single step of the way; we couldn’t have been more grateful. Her attention to detail was outstanding! She was in charge of our whole day, organising our suppliers, our family and friends, and of course looking after us. We truly cannot thank Francesca enough.

The food was to die for. All our guests were speechless at how amazing it all was. The chefs work so hard to provide you with no basic wedding food! Every single canapé was beautiful and had people going back for more. The venue speaks for itself, it is beautiful- the getting ready rooms, the grounds, even the honeymoon suite. Do not hesitate to book this venue; if we could do it again, we will be back at Farnham Castle.

One of a kind wedding venue with above expected service!

When my husband and I arrived at Farnham Castle, we knew that was where we wanted to get married. The spectacular setting and venue speak for themselves. They need very little decoration for you and your guests to feel wowed.

What really sets Farnham Castle apart, however, is the service. Jenna was incredibly communicative and accommodating throughout the whole process. Every suggestion and idea we had, she was flexible in helping us ensure it would work. The service of the other staff on the day of the wedding was exceptional. Disabled and elderly guests were particularly well supported and commented on this to us, both in the lead-up and after the wedding. The food was also excellent.

I would thoroughly recommend Farnham Castle as a wedding venue.

In particular, I felt so at ease in the run-up to the day because I knew no question was too small to ask. I felt listened to with my plans, and you gave really good advice based on past experiences at the venue. Your professionalism all day was incredible, and your stamina is insane! Pete wanted to say that you were unbelievably under pressure, and we didn’t notice any stress (even though they were no doubt there). I run events for a living, so to give up control to someone else is challenging, but I couldn’t have had a more perfect person support us – thank you.
