Summer Sweetheart Wedding at Kilver Court
On Sunday 14th June, something quite magical happened.
Misha married her college sweetheart Liam on a hazy summer’s day at Kilver Court in Somerset. Ooozing with love, DIY details and dusk dancing, you’re going to love the sheer gorgeousness that is about to unfold before you. Oh and Sam Gibson Photography has totally stolen my heart.

Misha:
We didn’t really have a set theme, but I guess you could say it was a ‘do it yourself’ rustic wedding, we had lots of decorative bits all made by ourselves, family & friends, lots of flowers and tons of candles!
We liked the idea of having an outdoors wedding so Kilver Court was the perfect venue for us because even when you are inside you get great views of the gardens and there are so many different areas to explore!
We wanted to include lots of personal things from our life, so we made most things ourselves and got lots of our friends involved when it came to the band, drinks and decorations!
We found so many great ideas from Pinterest so our day was a mix of dreamy inspiration taken from the web and our own creativity! We had a sweet bar with all of our favourite sweet treats and some homemade fudge made for us by a friend, and in the evening, we gave everyone sparklers which was a lot of fun and looked amazing in our pictures! Cigars and whiskey, toasted marshmallow and alfresco dancing outside in the gardens was the perfect way to end our day.
All of our food was provided by Kilver Court, it was delicious! We had a two course meal and a buffet for our evening guests. We also had lots of sweets, cakes, and Krispey Kremes for guests to help themselves to throughout the day!
I don’t think we can pick a favourite part as the whole day was just the best!
