Founded in 2012 by designer Kate Gale, Kate Ruth Romey is a bespoke stationery design house dedicated to creating unique and personal stationery for luxury weddings and special events. After a hugely successful year designing for weddings across the world, Kate is delighted to unveil her latest collection of designs.
Inspired by architecture and interior design, and influenced through her background in Theatre Design and Visual Display, Kate’s work stands out amongst traditional wedding stationery, and presents a unique offering for couples looking for modern and contemporary stationery with a hint of frivolity and romance.
Kate’s latest collection incorporates the finest materials and printing techniques. From digital printing to letterpress, silver, gold and the current go-to luxury finish – copper foiling, to ensure each piece is finished to the highest standard. Many of Kate’s designs are hand decorated – a labour of love offering couples a truly unique and bespoke finish.
In keeping with Kate’s belief that a couple’s stationery should intrinsically reflect their relationship and the wedding day, no two designs are ever the same. Each piece is painstakingly designed to be as unique as the couples themselves.
The latest collection is proof of this, from a suite inspired by a groom’s profession as a Magician, to a design incorporating both English and French wording – topped off with a humorous tongue-in-cheek monogram of a Princess kissing a frog. Kate’s work is uniquely infused with the personalities of each and every one of her couples.
