Tucked into the rolling Kent countryside, its 14th-century barns, luxury accommodation, and eco-friendly ethos gave them the freedom to create a celebration that was both personal and heartfelt. With autumnal florals, seasonal styling, and a weekend full of warmth and music, their day was a true reflection of who they are and the people they love most.

Nanda and Roger always dreamed of a countryside celebration, and The Oak Barn, Frame Farm offered everything they imagined and more. Set in the heart of the British countryside, this stunning barn wedding venue was the perfect choice for their vision of a relaxed yet elegant day.
With loved ones travelling from Brazil and across the globe, it was essential to find a venue that offered both flexibility and comfort. The Oak Barn’s luxury accommodations meant guests could truly settle in, transforming the celebration into a magical, multi-day wedding experience.
The couple loved that this was a dry hire venue, giving them the freedom to personalise every detail of their day. The three beautiful barns, combined with exclusive use, gave them the privacy to celebrate with friends and family exactly as they wanted. They also took advantage of the grounds and breathtaking scenery for their October Wedding.
In just six months of planning, Nanda and Roger brought their dream to life. The venue’s eco ethos and the warm support of the team ensured that their countryside celebration was not only stylish and sustainable but also unforgettable.

When it came to styling her day, Nanda wanted her bridal party to feel relaxed and confident. She encouraged her bridesmaids to choose dresses that suited their own personalities, because—as she beautifully put it—“one style does not fit all.” To keep a sense of harmony, she shared an autumnal colour palette as inspiration, and the result was stunning. The variety of styles, all tied together by warm seasonal hues, created a picture-perfect bridal party. To add a subtle touch of cohesion, Nanda suggested they wear similar hairstyles, which the bridesmaids happily agreed to—striking the perfect balance between individuality and unity.
For her own look, Nanda’s journey to finding “the one” was a memorable part of the planning. Initially drawn to a bohemian two-piece or a simple, understated gown, she was surprised when she slipped into the dress that would ultimately become hers. The moment she tried it on, she instantly felt like a princess and knew without hesitation that this was the gown she would walk down the aisle in.

For the overall styling of the day, Roger and Nanda embraced the natural beauty of the barn. With its characterful beams, rustic charm, and sweeping countryside views, they knew the space didn’t need much to make a statement. Instead, they opted for carefully chosen details that would enhance rather than overwhelm the setting.
They styled the space with a quirky vintage sofa set and props that tied perfectly into their colour scheme, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for guests. Seasonal flowers were chosen to reflect the rustic countryside feel—some striking arrangements truly highlighted the venue’s natural beauty. Their tables were set with elegant, minimalist place settings, allowing the barn’s warmth and charm to shine through.
For Roger and Nanda, it was the perfect example of the “less is more” approach. The barns, with their timeless character, required very little to feel truly magical. Every styling decision was made with intention, ensuring that the décor complemented rather than competed with the setting.

When it came to florals, Nanda and Roger knew they wanted arrangements that would capture the magic of the season and reflect the rustic charm of The Oak Barn, Frame Farm. They had already admired Becky’s work at Bridal Wild during a previous visit to the venue, and after speaking with her, it was clear she was the perfect fit. Becky instantly understood their vision: vibrant autumnal colours, natural textures, and a style that felt effortless yet elegant.
For Nanda’s bouquet, she dreamed of something that looked as though it was flowing—organic and romantic, with a sense of movement. On the tables, she envisioned seasonal blooms that appeared freshly gathered from a countryside garden, displayed in an assortment of mismatched vases for a relaxed, whimsical feel. Becky embraced the idea wholeheartedly, blending rustic, charming, seasonal flowers with vibrant tones that perfectly complemented the barn’s atmosphere.
The result exceeded every expectation, and the masterpiece was the installation that framed Nanda and Roger during their blessing on the stage – truly phenomenal. The florals brought warmth and vibrancy to the spaces, enhancing the barns without overpowering them. To this day, guests still comment on just how beautiful the arrangements looked, proving that Becky truly brought Nanda and Roger’s floral dreams to life.

For catering, Nanda and Roger chose Food Glorious Food, a trusted recommendation from The Oak Barn, Frame Farm. From the very beginning, they loved working with Julia and her dedicated team. Not only was the food absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, but the service was warm, attentive, and completely stress-free—everything a couple could hope for on their wedding day.
Julia and her staff went above and beyond to ensure every guest was well taken care of. With endless menu choices, impeccable attention to detail, and thoughtful consideration of every special dietary requirement, the couple were able to relax knowing that all of their friends and family—who had travelled from around the world—would be delighted by the feast. The planning process itself was a joy, and on the day, the results were nothing short of astonishing.
For the cake, Nanda and Roger decided to keep things simple and meaningful. They opted for a classic Waitrose wedding cake, which Becky from Bridal Wild delicately adorned with fresh seasonal flowers. The effect was both elegant and understated, perfectly complementing the rustic yet refined style of their day.

Capturing the memories of the day was hugely important to Nanda and Roger. While researching photographers, they came across the work of Jacob Malinski and instantly fell in love with his relaxed, documentary-style approach. His use of natural light and ability to capture genuine, candid moments felt exactly right for the atmosphere they wanted to create.
The couple didn’t want overly posed photographs; instead, they hoped for images that told the story of their day authentically and timelessly. Jacob delivered just that—the results were nothing short of perfect. Looking back, Nanda and Roger share a valuable piece of advice for other couples: choosing a photographer can feel daunting, but the key is finding someone you feel completely comfortable with, as you’ll be spending so much of the day together. Trust their guidance, but above all—just be yourselves.
Alongside Jacob’s stunning photography, the couple also worked with the fabulous Vix at Rings & Reels, a content creator who brought an extra layer of fun and energy to the celebration. Vix was a joy to have around, blending seamlessly into the day while capturing behind-the-scenes moments and creating instant memories for the couple to treasure. Within just a few days, Nanda and Roger received fun, shareable footage to relive and share with friends and family across the globe.

When asked about the best part of the day, Nanda and Roger didn’t hesitate—it was an unexpected moment that made their wedding truly unforgettable. During the cocktail hour in the Pole Barn, just before the evening party began, guests were surprised with an impromptu acoustic performance of traditional Brazilian music.
As the guitars began to play, Nanda was instantly transported back to her childhood, surrounded by the sounds that had always been part of her roots. The atmosphere shifted into something magical; guests from across the world were drawn into the rhythm and warmth of Brazilian culture, creating a moment of pure connection and joy.
It was unplanned, unpolished, and absolutely perfect. Everyone agreed the enchantment of that interlude lingered long after the music stopped, making it one of the most cherished memories of the entire multiday wedding celebration.

Their biggest advice is to choose the right venue and vendors—people you can trust, who truly understand your vision and will go the extra mile to make it a reality. For them, surrounding themselves with such a dedicated and caring team made all the difference.
They also highlight the importance of focusing on the details that make your guests feel welcome and special. Thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality are what guests will remember long after the last dance.
And perhaps most importantly: don’t let the small stresses take over in the weeks leading up to the big day. As Nanda puts it, “Something almost certainly will go out of control—but there’s always a solution!” With the support of your venue and your chosen suppliers, you can feel confident that they’ll go above and beyond to ensure everything comes together.
In the end, what matters most is the love you’re celebrating. With the right team around you, your wedding day will be every bit as magical and unforgettable as you’ve always dreamed.
