Our venue was the perfect setting for an English garden–themed shoot, offering all the charm and elegance of a quintessentially English countryside estate. Clevedon Hall, an 18th-century manor house, provided a timeless backdrop, steeped in history and character, while its perfectly manicured lawns and landscaped gardens captured the essence of refined country living. With sweeping greenery, symmetrical design, and a sense of understated grandeur, the grounds reflected the idyllic beauty that has long defined English garden style, making every shot feel authentic, romantic, and effortlessly graceful.
The theme of the shoot was inspired by the timeless beauty of an English garden, brought to life through pretty, delicate florals and soft, romantic colour palettes. Charlotte Griffiths Photography‘s photography style offers a seamless blend of editorial elegance and raw, honest storytelling. We were keen to highlight the couple’s unmatched attraction and chemistry, bringing a subtle sexiness to the shoot.

The shoot embraced a soft, romantic colour palette, perfectly suited to a spring–summer season. Gentle pastels such as blush pinks, powder blues, and soft lilacs were paired with creamy whites and fresh greenery, creating a light and airy aesthetic that felt effortlessly elegant. These delicate tones echoed the beauty of an English garden in full bloom, highlighting the natural charm of the season and complementing the historic manor backdrop. The palette not only celebrated the freshness of spring and summer but also added a timeless, romantic touch to every detail.

One standout gown from the collection features an extraordinary 200 hours of hand-painted florals, transforming the dress into a true work of art that blends perfectly with the English garden theme.
The suits, provided by Dyfed Menswear, complemented the setting flawlessly and exuded the refined charm of a true English gentleman.
The décor and styling for the English garden photo shoot were designed to capture the romance and refinement of a quintessential countryside setting. Soft, delicate florals in pastel hues were arranged with an effortless, garden-grown feel, complemented by lush greenery that added depth and texture. Elegant tablescapes featured fine china, crystal glassware, and subtle touches of gold, blending sophistication with natural charm. Fabrics were light and airy, with flowing linens and gentle draping that mirrored the softness of the surroundings. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the timeless beauty of the manicured lawns and historic manor backdrop, creating an atmosphere that was both graceful and enchanting.

Verbena brought the English garden vision to life with an exquisite selection of blooms. We chose a palette of soft, romantic florals—think delicate roses, lush peonies, and whimsical sweet peas—layered with natural greenery to create arrangements that felt both refined and effortlessly organic. The designs were intentionally loose and garden-inspired, evoking the sense of flowers freshly gathered from the manor’s own grounds. This approach perfectly captured the theme, adding charm, colour, and texture while keeping the overall look elegant and timeless.

Couples can take inspiration from this English garden shoot by weaving its romantic, timeless details into their own wedding plans. Think of soft, delicate floral arrangements with a just-picked-from-the-garden feel, paired with pastel or muted colour palettes for a dreamy atmosphere. A historic venue or outdoor setting with manicured lawns provides the perfect backdrop, while elegant touches, such as fine china, crystal glassware, and flowing linens, add refinement. Grooms can embrace classic suits with a gentleman’s charm, while brides might opt for gowns with hand-painted or floral details to echo the theme.
