Clevedon Hall

As a couple planning our wedding from the United States, one of our biggest priorities was finding a venue we could completely trust and rely on. Since we were booking sight unseen and couldn’t make frequent trips to the UK, we needed a team that would make us feel confident every step of the way. Clevedon Hall exceeded every expectation we had.

In October 2025, we finally saw Clevedon Hall in person, and it exceeded our expectations. It looked exactly like the photos and videos on their website, but somehow even more beautiful. During our visit, we also had a private tasting, and the food was absolutely delectable. It made us even more excited for our wedding day.

Matthew was absolutely incredible. I honestly can’t find the right words to describe how far above and beyond he and his team went to make our wedding day perfect.

We were dealing with record-breaking temperatures on our wedding day, but Matthew handled everything with such professionalism and calm that the entire day ran seamlessly. He and his team made sure every detail was taken care of without a hitch, allowing us to simply enjoy every moment. Bonus points to Clevedon Hall for having the Library and the Orangery air-conditioned. Our guests were incredibly grateful for those cool spaces throughout such an unusually hot day.

The food deserves a special mention as well. Our wedding breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. We had countless guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. It was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious.

So many of our guests also commented on how organised, thoughtful, and attentive the staff were, with Matthew receiving special praise for his leadership and care throughout the day. Their hard work did not go unnoticed, and it truly made all the difference.

Our wedding would not have been the incredible day it was without Matthew and the amazing team at Clevedon Hall. We are beyond grateful for everything they did and cannot recommend this venue highly enough. We wanted to say how incredibly impressed we were with the venue and the entire team. The attention to detail was beyond anything we could have hoped for, and everyone was truly amazing. We’re still reliving the day and smiling about it.

Katie, in particular, was exceptional. She was professional, organised, and genuinely brilliant throughout. Multiple members of our party commented on how fantastic she was, and beyond that, she made us feel so comfortable, keeping us calm when needed and hyping us up at just the right moments. I’d like to thank all the staff at Clevedon Hall for the welcome that they gave all the guests at my daughter’s wedding last weekend.

All the staff were friendly and went about their duties discreetly with a “can-do” attitude, and their efforts made for a really memorable weekend. I think the staff were the unsung heroes who made the whole event flow smoothly, and their diligence was nothing short of above the call of duty.

Whilst all the staff were remarkable, I must single out Matt for special attention as he was everywhere all the time and made the whole thing appear effortless even though he obviously did everything he could to ensure the success of the occasion. I’m sure the staff never get enough praise for their work, and I, for one, would like to thank them for making the weekend the most amazing and memorable that I’ve experienced in a long time.

From the very beginning, the whole experience was incredible.

We were first introduced to our wedding planner, Megan, who helped us plan our perfect day and made everything so easy. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and whenever we wanted to make any changes or adjustments, everything was taken care of.

A few weeks before the wedding, we were introduced to our Events Manager, Kyle, who brought everything we had been planning to life. On the day itself, Kyle went above and beyond to make our wedding as special as possible, alongside Nathaniel, who looked after us during the evening.

A special mention also goes to the chefs, as the food was absolutely faultless from start to finish. We received so many compliments from our guests (one of which being an ex chef for over 20 years) about how lovely it was, and that they catered exactly to what we had asked for. The wedding breakfast was served perfectly on time, and all of the staff were so friendly, polite and genuinely couldn’t have done any more for us.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, including the rooms, which were out of this world, and we would highly recommend it to anyone planning a wedding or any other event. We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for making it the most incredible day for us and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. If you want an event to remember, then the only option is Clevedon Hall.

We got married at Clevedon Hall in June 2026. We started our planning process with Meg, which ended up being one of the main reasons why we decided this was our venue. Meg was soooo professional, fun and helpful throughout. We were handed over to Jordan as the day got closer. From our first meeting with Jordan, I knew he was going to ensure we had the best day ever; nothing was too much trouble for him, and he encouraged us to tell him every single thing we wanted to do so that he could make it happen for us. On the day of the wedding, Jordan was always close by and, as expected, nothing was too much trouble. All members of staff that we met at Clevedon Hall were fab and friendly. The food: We are five days post-wedding, and never in my life have I continued to think about a carrot for so long!! The food was absolutely stunning. All of our guests loved it. The venue speaks for itself; it is gorgeous inside and outside. Having 25 rooms was ideal to have our family with us all night, and the rooms themselves are pure luxury. I cannot thank everyone at Clevedon Hall enough, and would recommend it to anyone looking for that special venue.

Matt and Lauren were both absolutely amazing; we felt in complete safe hands throughout the whole process and the day itself, and they helped make us as relaxed about everything as any bride and groom possibly could be!

Firstly, we wanted to reiterate how thankful we are to you and all the team. Lauren, you were so accommodating and helpful throughout the process. From putting up with endless emails with new thoughts/requests, to taking good enough notes of these requests that you remembered them long after we’d forgotten!

We had an amazing weekend, and everything went very smoothly. Special shout out to Jordan for being on top of last-minute adjustments and generally helping organise. We felt like the day went perfectly and everything was perfectly organised by us.. But that’s obviously not true, and in fact, Jordan helped abstract away tons of stuff that ensured we were able to just enjoy the day.

Also, thank you to Sam for putting up with our late nights! It really felt like a home away from home that we could all be comfortable in, and our guests felt the same.

The service from all the staff was incredibly attentive and professional (without being stuffy). The team that helped put up our decorations did a fantastic job. The bar staff were great. Everything was just fantastic and that’s pretty much entirely down to the team.

Finally, food. The chefs did a fantastic job the whole weekend. The food was delicious. The tarte tatin and lamb chops were the standouts for us and our guests. The cook on the lamb was so impressive when doing that for ~80 diners! Tiffany’s mum’s favourite dish of her whole trip in England was the lamb.

The Friday dinner was a huge hit, too! The variety of dishes and flavours was great; our guests really enjoyed it, and we feel it really made the Friday night special! The food being appropriate to the Chinese New Year theme really helped it feel distinct from the Saturday.

All in all, it was the best weekend of our lives, and that’s down the whole team. We really hope we can get a chance to come back. Clevedon Hall will always have a special place in our hearts.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the pristine gardens and warmly greeted by Megan. Megan was then with us for all our planning, listening to our wishes and ideas whilst offering her expertise and advice throughout. Throughout the 15 months of planning, we were always welcomed and encouraged to visit, and each time we fell more in love with the venue.

The function rooms and the bedrooms are immaculate, offering a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere, with so many options to move around the venue to make use of all the space. This was one of the few venues that could accommodate so many guests on-site (with a local hotel down the road for our other guests).

As the wedding date approached, we were introduced to our events manager, Matthew, who would be with us on the day. We have to admit we were initially nervous about this transition, as Megan had looked after us so well. However, Megan provided a highly detailed handover to our manager, Matthew.

Matthew exceeded all our expectations. We spent hours in meetings, minute by minute planning of our special day. Matthew, like Megan, offered his 15 years’ experience working at the venue to provide us with professional advice and suggestions whilst listening so intently to our personal wishes. It truly was the perfect blend! Matthew anticipated details we hadn’t even considered, ensuring nothing was overlooked. The attention to detail was really appreciated.

Matthew was highly responsive to any questions in the lead-up to the wedding, and this made us feel so relaxed. When people asked if we felt nervous or stressed in the week before the wedding, the honest answer was no. Every detail was planned, agreed and thought out; therefore, the lead-up was so enjoyable. Exactly as it should be.

We hired the venue from Friday to Sunday, giving us every opportunity to enjoy this beautiful building. The staff made all our guests feel welcome, including our children. The team went above and beyond to accommodate dietary requirements, which really set this venue apart. Guests commented on how well looked after they were.

The wedding day flew by, and we loved every second. Matthew was discretely with us throughout the day, making sure we stuck to the schedule whilst being flexible at the same time. He even suggested times for us to have a few minutes alone together, such as after the ceremony, which was so thoughtful. Matthew, we cannot thank you enough; you are an absolute credit to Clevedon Hall, and our day was everything it was because of you.

We honestly could not recommend Clevedon Hall more highly. From start to finish, the team and service were second to none.

Everything was so easy for us; Katie did an amazing job coordinating the day – we didn’t have to think of anything, especially in the stress of the day. Everything was immaculately timed; we could really see the experience in the team!

The set up of all the items we brought was perfect, with very little explanation from us and support from the day before. Speeches were great with the microphones, etc. We couldn’t recommend Katie enough for the day; she was our absolute hero, making us feel calm, bringing the necessary family members to their positions and taking charge of the day! Thank you to Nathaniel (apologies if I’m remembering the name wrong), who took over from Katie for the evening, also helping us cut the cake, etc.

Thanks to you also; you helped answer all our thousands of questions promptly and helped with last-minute requests like the accommodation for my cousin for her visa.

All in all, it was such a perfect day, and we would recommend Clevedon Hall as a venue to everyone.

We are so grateful to all the Clevedon Hall team. From first meeting you to view the venue, to all the advice and help with the planning process, we were confident from the beginning that we made the right choice to get married at Clevedon Hall! Our wedding weekend was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. It was fantastic to have Kyle’s experience throughout the wedding day, guiding us to where we needed to be and keeping everything running so smoothly. We could relax and go with the flow, knowing everything was in hand. The food was incredible. All our guests said how delicious the wedding breakfast was. I know the suppliers (our photographer, Charlie, and the band) felt very well looked after as well.

I’ve attached our favourite photos from our wedding day. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were with the weather, it definitely felt like the first day of Spring!

I wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at Clevedon Hall. The service throughout our wedding day was second to none. The thoughtful details you put in without us even having to ask, from the gong to make announcements and ensure everyone is listening, moving the flowers from the ceremony to the cake to make the cake a true centrepiece, to leaving the spare wine on the bar for our guests to enjoy post-dinner. Everything was thought of.

I’ve run large corporate events in the past, and I like to think of myself as organised and having pretty much thought of everything, but these small details that I missed the team picked up without a second thought, and it made the day run so beautifully and smoothly. At one point during dinner service, whilst your team were serving dinner to 80 people, a friend of mine asked for some ice; the waiting staff said of course, but it might just take a bit of time as they are right in the middle of service, which of course my friend understood. A minute later, another member of staff arrived with the ice; this level of service during a busy time is incredible.

From start to finish, I felt completely comfortable entrusting you and the team to deliver our day how we imagined, and it didn’t disappoint; in fact, it went even more perfectly than I could have hoped for.

With multiple guests saying that it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to, I have to pass some of that credit to the beautiful venue and the wonderful team.

Jordan, you entirely bought the energy on the day, made us feel truly special and like nothing was too much trouble. We are so glad that we had you there on the day to bring our plans to life. All our suppliers came in and organised seamlessly, with them turning up and setting up without us noticing.

Thank you again for all of your help; we had the most beautiful, emotional day. I honestly wouldn’t have changed a second of it for the world. You are truly incredible at what you do and are an asset to Clevedon Hall, and the team were so professional from start to finish.

Wow – where do we start?! We had the most perfect, special wedding day at Clevedon Hall. Throughout the 18 months of planning, nothing has been too much trouble. The organisation and service from every single member of the team has been faultless. On the actual day itself, all our guests raved about the bedrooms and food – they all couldn’t believe how incredible everything was and neither could we. There isn’t one thing we can complain about. What an amazing day it was! We couldn’t have asked for a better team looking after us in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day. Every little detail, from checking if we were happy with the decorations, moving them from room to room, and making sure we got to eat the canapés, we really appreciate all the effort. Every part of Clevedon Hall adds something special and really elevates the whole wedding experience. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and our guests loved staying at the venue. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The bar service, waiting staff, lighting, and every member of the team were exceptional. There is also a large car park with plenty of space for guests, which made everything so convenient. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived until the very end. The whole team made us feel completely at ease and gave us the wedding of our dreams.
