Jesús Caballero contacted me back in the Summer because he’d fallen for Clissold House. I can completely understand why.
Jesús wanted to use the space to create a piece of bridal inspiration using his fave designer Andrea Hawkes. Think clean, simple and chic with a vintage edge.
The makeup look is hauntingly pretty with pink details and the florals, although ‘quiet’ in their presence, make quite the statement when worn by the Bride-to-be as a bib necklace.
I’ll leave you with Jesús…

Jesús: I have dreamed about photographing the elegant dresses by Andrea Hawkes, so this Summer I made this dream a reality.
I wanted to seek out a venue that had both personality and history. The venue also had to have beautiful blank canvas spaces and an al fresco element. Andrea told me about Clissold House, a restored 18th Century mansion in a beautiful part of London where she used to walk. When I found Clissold House on Coco Wedding Venues, I immediately contacted Emma to say hello and arrange the shoot!
The light at Clissold House is wonderful to photograph, there are large ornate windows and spacious rooms with wooden floors – the perfect blank canvas for Andrea’s collection. The outdoor terrace with it’s stately facade also provided us with a stunning background.

For the shoot, we selected two dresses from the collection – Olive and Ophelia. We had the amazing work of Pamela and Andrea Makeup and the flowers were by Noeelen of the The Basement Florist.
As for me, I am Jesús Caballero, a destination wedding photographer. When I’m not in Lisbon, Portugal, you can find me in Barcelona or London. My photography is intimate, natural and different. For this session I used my professional cameras and experimented with some old cameras to play with the hazy summer atmosphere.

Like I said… Simple and chic.
Thank you so much to the ever-so-lovely (he really is) Jesús and of course the small but perfectly formed team behind this shoot. You can see the full gallery by clicking the link above!
