The creative concept for this shoot focuses on an emergence of beauty from an ethereal, sleepy background of winter. It juxtaposes minimalism with fine art, providing artistic inspiration for the discerning bride with an eye for detail.
Shot in February, this editorial consisted of a team embracing and embodying the feeling of a fresh start, new opportunities and a blank canvas for the year ahead.
Just as new life begins to emerge from the quiet chill of winter, so do the soft colours of ivory, cream, blush and champagne gold from the backdrop of an historic, white-walled engine room. The theme flows through all the creative aspects of the editorial: the cake designs with delicate sugar blossom, the bouquet of foliage and blooms with hints of pink, floaty off-white bridal separates with an appliquéd floral design on the skirt and a golden, intricate hair vine.
