With this shoot, we wanted to show how you could mix chic and minimalist styling with timeless, classic touches. Thorpe Manor, a new luxury wedding venue in Oxfordshire, was the perfect backdrop. Its interiors are a luxurious blend of old and new and it’s looking stunning following a 3 year top-to-toe renovation.
Inspired by the grand piano that sits resplendent in the ceremony room, we imagined that our bride was a pianist, serenading her beloved. She wore a structured Jesús Peiró gown and contemporary jewellery, with her hair in a chic twist. On film, the overall effect is striking and sophisticated, with a raw and innocent feel.
Our florist created romantic arrangements and a gorgeous rose and delphinium installation around the piano. Other details included the bespoke stationery suite that combines elegant calligraphy with simple modern text; the beautifully decorated cake; the botanically dyed silk ribbons; the glass tableware and crisp white linen; and the covetable Tom Ford stilettos.
For the evening, we lit the candles and the mood was transformed. Our glamorous bride wore two sleek gowns, accessorised with geometric jewellery. It was all very demure and sultry.
