After quite an emotional week, ours was full of reading, cooking pancakes (my husband makes the best American pancakes), listening to our current podcast, reflecting, being grateful and just being still in each others company. It was much needed.
I’m conscious of content on here, understanding where people are at right now with their wedding venue search. We don’t want to continue to forge ahead as if nothing is happening, because it is. But also, this is what we do, it’s our passion, our livelihood and quite frankly venues are our jam.
We know our beautiful collection has been hit hard this last week. They have been working long, long hours trying to ensure the couples due to marry imminently have a new plan for their big day. We want to continue to support them and we want to shout about their brilliant teams so that when you’re ready to begin your wedding planning again, you find them.
I know they would love to hear from all of you starting to plan your 2021/22 weddings.
Introducing Coombe Trenchard
Last month, I was sent this brand new film created for Coombe Trenchard, a beautiful privately owned Edwardian Country House set within 116 acres of stunning gardens, woodland and parkland, with enviable far reaching views to Dartmoor. The moment I pressed play I knew it was something special.
Owners, Sarah and Philip, decided to create this short film to give people the chance to connect with Coombe Trenchard and discover the unique and very special qualities it has, in a way that words and images alone simply cannot do.
It’s a fast paced, ever changing, competitive market, and digitally influenced world when it comes to weddings, yet Coombe Trenchard gracefully holds its own, as a beautiful Edwardian treasure – unlike any other – built for the purpose of entertaining.
“I hope this film will provide couples with great excitement, intrigue and quiet confidence when embarking on their wedding planning journey of discovery” says Sarah, who personally coordinates every wedding for couples.
Throughout the film, Sarah provides a charming insight into the story of this West Devon gem which during the last decade has continued to carve out a wonderful reputation for Country House Weddings and events to celebrate the season. Coombe Trenchard is an idyllic location, a much loved private home full of extraordinary opportunities for ‘one of a kind’ celebrations – all shared with great love by Sarah and Philip Marsh, who are the perfect hosts.
I urge you to take a moment to step inside Sarah & Philips’ home and allow yourself to be embraced by the magic.
